Not happy
I have not been happy with this purchase. I purchased these sticks on 5th March and on 8th May one of them snapped in my hand in the middle of a song. I have use them 8 times! Not good Vic Firth.

Heavy Hitters,, good.
Vic Firth has become my favorite sticks. I use several sizes and they all feel great when I play. These RockN's really give you a killer sound, and the nylon tips brightens the cymbal sound a bit more than the wooden tip. Depends on what you like. I'd say these sticks are bet for hard hitting players with strong wrists that like to make lots of little splinters when they play. Yet, I don't recall ever breaking one of these. I wear them down until they are all chewed up, but can't say I ever broke one. Eh,, good sticks.. BAM POW BOOSH!

Pro Mark "rock" sticks are like a 5A or 5B
The only reason I'm giving these 4 stars...is that they were too big for my liking. Pro Mark "rock" sticks are like a 5A or 5B, but these are more like a 2B...no problem though, as Amazon took them right back in exchange for some 5A's! If you like a stick more like a 2B, these would be for you :)

Vic Firth... Duh
These are the only sticks that I use. The nylon tip stays on well and they're very durable. These are slightly different from your 5B sticks. 1,000,000 stars. RIP Vic Firth.
