Somewhere between an overpriced lamp and utterly useless
Ordered this "Mosquito Zapper" as I needed an insect killer that was battery powered/portable. Ran this lamp almost 24 hours and it did not kill a single Mosquito. I even went as far as to put this on a planter in my garden, an area swarming with soil gnats, flies, and mosquitos, hoping it would help control the problem out there and see if it would zap a few. Not only were the flying bugs not attracted or "zapped" by this thing, they were actually repelled by it. This lantern only served to act as a mild nuisance to the insects, one in which they rectified by flying half a meter away from the lamp. DO NOT waste your time, energy, money, or Amazon credit in even considering this thing. If you need a portable lamp, you can find just a lamp for a much better price. If you need a bug zapper, as I still do, look elsewhere.

Quite handy, amazing that even a portable zapper works very well on mosquitos.The lamp light function works pretty well and the charge is very good

Used it in our garden's gazebo setting, but had to keep fighting those mosquitos!

Didn't work
Waste of money. I tried it at my home and it did not catch even one fly or mosquito. I used it over night for one week. There are a lot of mosquitos but it caught none. It is just a small light.

It comes with a solar penal with type c USB, which means I can use the panel on other stuff too for energy. The light is good and waterproof

Not recommended
It’s basically a lamp.. it did catch a few small harmless insects but no mosquitoes at all. A complete waste tbh.
