The Best Volleyball I've Ever Played With!
I play indoor volleyball 3-4 times a week, and I've played with different kinds of volleyballs. This one is, by far, the best volleyball I have ever played with. I know that sounds like a gross exaggeration, but no other ball in the world can compare to this! It only took 2-3 games to break it in, which is much shorter than previous new balls I've used. The grip on this ball is amazing, and it's perfect for setting. I find that some volleyballs are slippery and difficult to grip properly (Mikasa brand balls are like that). This would be a great ball for someone who's learning how to set. Even the people on my team who aren't good setters say that their sets are better when they use this. The grip also makes it easy to overhand serve the ball. It's gotten to the point that I can't serve well with other balls because I'm so used to the amazing grip on this one. This ball is harder than most of the ones I've used, which means that spikes and hits come down on the other side of the court extremely fast. If you want a soft ball, then this is definitely not for you. You may want to try something like Molten's Super Touch. I personally don't mind the hardness. One minor issue I have with this ball is that it's very bouncy. When I first started passing with this, it went higher than most volleyballs I've used. Because of this, you definitely have to be mindful of how you pass the ball and make sure that your ball control is on point. Although I recommend this for beginning setters, I don't recommend this for beginning passers because of the bounciness. An experienced player can adjust to the ball's bounciness, but beginners probably won't be able to. Mikasa's MVA200 is a good ball for beginning passers. However, the bounciness still doesn't take away from the other amazing qualities this ball has. I can't comment on the longevity since I've only owned it for a few weeks, but my friends who own this ball say that they've had it for years and haven't had any major issues with it. I'll update my review in a few months and comment on the condition of the ball. Mine came deflated, which wasn't too much of a problem because I own a pump. However, in the future, Amazon, please don't deflate balls before shipping them! Edit on October 19, 2015 - I've owned this for almost a year, and it's still holding up strong! It's much dirtier than it was when I first bought it, but that's not surprising since I use it multiple times a week. I like that I don't have to pump air into it frequently - I've only inflated it 3 times since buying it. Definitely worth purchasing if you play intermediate or advanced level volleyball.

Make sure you have means to inflate the ball
Just an FYI that the ball will need to be inflated. It is stated in the product description, but it caught me off guard. It wasn't a problem since I had a can of air at home to inflate it. Nice quality ball. It's legit.

Awesome feel and good quality
This Molten volleyball is legit. It feels super soft on the arms and has great grip and control. The colors pop, and it’s easy to track during games. You can tell it’s high quality no weird bounces or deflation issues. Perfect for indoor and outdoor play.

Takes a bit of getting used to but great for game play
I mostly play with the Tachikara SV5W which I like for the touch and control. This Molten feels much different to that. It's got much more pop to it. The texture of the ball is almost tacky and may take a bit of getting used to. Once you do though, I think you'd enjoy it. The leagues that I play in want people using the Tachikara balls but I've been able to sneak this one in once in a while. It takes a little breaking in before it feels good but once that's done this is a great ball to play with. You get used to the tacky feel of the ball after a few games. It seems much more durable than the SV5W (which is why I wanted to give this one a try). This ball has been smashed against walls, rafters, bleachers, etc and it's held up much better than the SV5W which would show scuffs and cuts fairly quickly. The weird panel designs don't impact me that much as I don't really serve floaters. The extra pop is great when serving jumpers and the grip is nice when throwing on top spin. The pass comes off really well once you get used to the extra little energy the ball delivers. My biggest gripe would be the color of the ball may be a tad dark because of how big the red and blue panels are. I like the red/white/blue much better than the green one. I haven't had much trouble with it but the gym I've been playing in is very well lit with white walls so the contrast is good. If you can talk other teams into using this ball, I think it's a great ball to play with.

Fresh out the box will update after use
I just got this ball and it came deflated as expected, once I inflated it still hasn’t molded into correct shape, i’ll leave a video showing the lines(which should come out with play if inflated right). there is a few minor “dents” in some places that shouldn’t be an issue. i’ll update how the ball handles a week of play, but i love this color of ball! A couple of my friends have the same ball but they bought it from a different website, so we shall see if this one functions the same.
