Great for the price! Everything I found was over priced and just not what I was looking for. Simple cheap money but gets a the job done. and that’s exactly what I got. But expecting it to be cheaply made. But it’s not, I’ve spent good amounts of money on the same exact thing an this is cheap and great quality lasted through the entire summer. No problems

First thing to know it's lightweight just as described I have brought several umbrella stands that do not fit my small bistro table This does perfectly .I have a 7.5 umbrella and even with the thumb bolt I feel I need a insert just to make it tighter .The sand we got is wet and I have it drying out to fill the base .If You have a small table it does look perfect if you have a big table it's going to look awkward .For me it's perfect .I however had a clever idea instead of filling it with water or sand filling it with concrete .Hope this helps with your decision .Only thing the price doesn't reflect the actual piece but wasn't a deal breaker because it fits nice with a small bistro table .

We had a custom table on our deck. The opening for an umbrella holder is small. We struggled to find the size that would fit. This one does. It’s a shell of a holder. The sand added is what gives the weight. If strong winds it would not successfully hold up an umbrella but with the stability of the table…together it’s perfect for our use. Recommend for small footprints but not for a totally freestanding umbrella.

Base arrived with a missing filler plug. Reached out to company and couldn't ask for a better response. Plug was sent out to me within a week or two. The base is nice. Does not take up much room under patio table. We filled with water and it has substantial weight. Overall very happy with purchase and support.

I bought this in hopes that I could use it with another umbrella I purchased with a pole width of 1 1/4" inch. When both arrived, the ONE screw (HUGE design flaw) would not stably hold the too small pole in the center. So I went out and purchased ANOTHER umbrella with a 1 1/12 inch pole (the size they claim the stand will hold max) but it was still too small for the hole and now with the bigger pole comes a bigger umbrella. Sooooo the tiny little stand will NOT hold up the umbrella at all AND the ONE screw on ONE side still holds it in a lopsided position.Now on to customer service....I started a return on Amazon and got instructions to send back right away from Amazon. AFTER I packed it up (an hour later) the company reaches out and says to not send it back yet. They want pictures and video before they send their return instructions. I tell them the whole frustrating story and ask them to please not hold up this already miserable and expensive experience anymore. I ask them to send me the return info. The next day I get an email asking again for photos BUT if I still want to return (of course I do) here are the instructions to return. HOWEVER, NO RETURN WILL BE ISSUED IF IT IS NOT IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING. We'll isn't that convenient for them?? Of course it's not in original packaging, I wasted a week a half buying two umbrellas and testing their faulty product but left the item in its original packaging. So I'm trying to spare you the next suckered to think maybe I will be different from this poorly built product sold by a company who does not stand by their poorly built product. I needed these to hold two umbrella sturdy in my backyard. They do what I need them to, but one of them arrived damaged. There is a tab on the insert that attaches to the umbrella pole. That tab was broken and from time to time, with enough wind, the insert comes out of the base because of that broken tab. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I probably will go with something different next time.

Small little plastic base you fill with water to hold a small umbrella. Using it with a Bistro table so it fits perfectly between the legs and holds the 6' umbrella. (Probably will not work well with umbrellas over 6' diameter)

I have looked a long time for an umbrella base for my small umbrella in my bistro set. This is the only one that fit. It holds the umbrella well. I can see why other reviewers did not like this for a large table, but it works perfect for my small table to hold in place my small umbrella. Does a great job!
