Records onto .wav files in a hit or miss fashion. In any case, the files cannot be open with QuickTime player or any other software, giving the message: "The document “[file name].wav” could not be opened. An unknown error occurred (1885563711)I use Mac OS 10.13 platform". The files are corrupted. Sometimes doesn't record anything even if you talk right onto the device, sometimes it does. When trying to use the software included in the device, needed for time stamp, encrypt, formatting or rebooting, I get the error: "You can’t open the application “[file name].exe” because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on macOS", for all .exe files provided in the device. Clearly there is no compatibility with Mac OS either, contrary to their representations. This is a defective, non-functional product, should not be sold in Amazon. What a waste of time. Normally I don't write negative reviews, I just return item. But I felt other buyers should be aware of this an not waste their time.

I tested it out in my vehicle With the sounds of me talking and the sounds from the streets. The sound of the street noise was louder. It was under a mat. The fast forward button have me all over the place. There is no dates and no way of turning it down some

The instruction manual and video is not even in proper English, but regardless...once I figured out how to use this thing it is very frustrating. I recorded my voice as a test, and it worked fine. Then I went to record a class on Voice activation, it was fully charged...I went to replay it later that night - nothing!! It recorded nothing! I retested it, and went over the ridiculous instructions again...and it happened again. I no longer have the box or any of the packing material, so now I have a useless P.O.S. in my drawer. It is small, and easily concealed. but that is worthless if you can't even tell whether it is recording or not until you try to play it back - to discover that it did not work! My phone app works much better, and I can see when it is actually recording, no guess work.

After carefully reading the instructions I tried all of the features and everything works perfectly and as described. This device is very simple and easy to use. I like how thin and compact this device is while still maintaining excellent quality sound recording and lots and lots of storage space for many recordings. The device is very small and very easy to hide in plain sight. It picks up sound perfectly and almost amplifies it so you don’t miss a thing. It’s easy to save and download the recorded files onto your computer or phone and it comes with all of the attachments for doing so and or listening to recordings right from the device itself.👍👍Definitely worth every penny.

Hypothetically, if I had needed evidence that my spouse was having an affair, this product worked like a charm. Under the floor mat inside of a vehicle, i could hear voices very clearly. I *wish* i was able to save and listen to the files without having the product plugged in...but overal it was very easy to use and did exactly what I needed it to.
