Well made, good fit, hat itself is just a great size being big enough to give me more protection without being massive. 5 stars!

Owned one about 10 yrs ago but ended up selling it on Ebay after wearing it for about 5 yrs. Still got back 3/4 of what bought it for. The color didn't really go with the majority of my clothing and it was just a little bit too small. I tried another brand but it just wasn't the same. I finally broke down and went back to the LTM6. In my opinion, no other hat on the market compares to the looks and comfort of this hat.

My hair is kind of thin on top, and too much sun burns me. I especially don't like a sunburned scalp. This hat provides decent protection from the sun, but it's uncomfortable to keep it on when it's really hot and humid. There's not really any airflow through this hat, the vents on top are practically useless. First I took the string out because I don't like it dangling around my face. The hat fits my head nice, and it's comfortable to wear without the string. But when it gets hot outside, my head sweats too much. And I need a hat the most when it's sunny and hot. So now I'm trying it with the string again. I do think it's slightly better with the string. I try to keep the hat up off my head a little more with the string, and hopefully get a little airflow. I still don't notice much airflow, and although it's a little better, it still gets quite hot and sweaty. Plus I can't figure out what to do with the string so that it's not dangling or annoying me. Also, they don't have the lifetime guarantee anymore, so that might be a concern. Overall, it's a nice hat and seems to be good quality. But calling it "airflow" is misleading.

I wear this hat for golf,hiking or anything outdoors. I also have a Montana fedora for the cold weather.

Arrived in a thin plastic bag that was torn and crammed into my mailbox. The hat is completely deformed, crumpled and unwearable. I would expect more from Amazon. This hat is destroyed and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Do not order the gray color because the vendor will claim to have it and then send you rock face. Looked like a nice hat but I sent it back because of the color. If I pay $85 for a fishing hat I want what I ordered

I purchased this hat for summer hiking, it is by far my favourite hat, it has been used all summer and held up extremely well, offers fantastic sun protection for the neck, face and upper body, the wide brim is definitely a plus, impressive fit and design and happy with the value.

Followed advice from other reviews and sized up, glad I did. My head measures 60cm and I went for XL 7 3/4, perfect fit.Only gave 4 stars because I was disappointed not to get a chinstrap with a toggle, for the price of the hat it is a small thing which would make a big difference.Had to go back on Amazon and order one, extra expense and hassle.
