Shoulder Immobilizer Sling Cotton Poly Right/Left, Large 9x18, 1 ea

I broke my middle finger and tore some ligaments in my hand. So I was put in a cast that came from right before my elbow over my entire hand (including all 4 of my fingers) along with a sling to wear 24/7 for at least 3 weeks. The sling given was so uncomfortable and slid all over at night while sleeping. I purchased this sling and it’s really seemed to help! It keeps my arm in place while sleeping and can be adjusted to reduce swelling. It also prevents me from trying to use the injured hand since it’s strapped against my chest. For $12 it’s a great purchase!

It's decently comfortable and has plenty of shoulder and waist adjustment.. My arm and shoulder barely move when snugged down. I ordered this because of elbow and wrist surgery. My big complaint is that it does not breathe. After wearing for about 10 minutes, my arm starts to noticeably sweat, even when sitting down. I tried wearing it for 10 minutes while exercising, and found my arm was actually wet.If your only worry is immobilizing your shoulder or arm, this is fine, but if you have sutures or wounds that need to stay dry it's not going to work very well.My elbow and wrist are wrapped in bandages, so this probably makes it even worse.

This worked bettter than my regular sling for an injured shoulder. Ultimately, after shoulder surgery, I needed a different type of shoulder immobilizer that really keeps my arm firmly at my side. But this was a good choice in the interim and I might go back to it as needed once I get the OK to take off the big contraption I have to wear for now.I think that this would be fine for a strained tendon in the shoulder area or for resting the shoulder when it is sore from an old injury.

I know it says "shoulder" immobilizer, but I bought it after my 2nd wrist surgery! I need to wear a sling at all times (so the doctors say!) if there's a chance I may get bumped into or fall...well, with my multiple medical conditions & a 14 year old & a 5 year old in the house that would be ALWAYS!!! I also have neck & back issues so wearing the sling they provide after surgery was just TERRIBLE for my neck!!This one is comfortable, roomy enough to slip my phone & whatever else I may need into it, supports the shoulder, elbow & wrist & I love the back strap for relieving neck pressure!!It's all that I wanted and more!!! Thank You!!!

A little difficult to figure out, but once I got it on, super comfortable. I'm very small for my age, 5'6" 105pounds, so this is pretty tough to get on/keep on, since in some places the velcro is only at the end of the straps. If you're small, be wary, you may have a little DIY-ing to do!

Not so good. It is a bit flimsy. I cannot adjust to get the support where I need it. Is large enough to fit a bulky cast into, but, if you dont have a cast, the pcket doeant hold the arm at a comfortable angle.I had to pin it closed (a velcro strap might help). There is "lift" (support) at the elbow but not the wrist, and that seems to worsen my pain, holding the shoulder in an abnormal position.Easy to use, though.

There are several things I like about this brace:1) The strap goes down the middle of the chest, making it more comfortable for women.2) The adjustment options are sufficient to make a good fit.3) It is effective at immobilizing my shoulder/arm.4) It is comfortable and lightweight.5) Very reasonable price.The adjustments can be a little difficult upon first use, but once set up for your body I think it's pretty easy thereafter.Hopefully I don't need to ever need to, but I would repurchase this item if I needed another one.

I was in a hurry, so I bought a cheap $10. sling at the local drug store. It was so bloody bad, that it was a joke, and the joke was on ME. Then I ordered this one, and in two days... BLISS. This is a quality product, does exactly what its supposed to, and is totally worth the money. It works perfectly (too bad the girl isn't included, but I'll settle for the arm sling)!
