We love this heater!
Our family and friends always complement us on this heater. It creates a warm and inviting atmosphere whenever we have a backyard party! Highly recommended. Also...I had to reach out to their tech support and Myla was very helpful.

Warmth and lighting
I bought two and am very happy with my purchase. It took some time to put together but nothing was difficult and directions were easy to follow. Adjustable heat dial is nice and works well. We had a get together this past weekend and five of us were very comfortable on a chilly evening. I had one issue with the hardware. The factory sealed package on one or my heaters was missing the three bolts to attach the heat reflector on top. This was not anyone’s fault by any means. This was a machine failure during packaging. I contacted them and they quickly send the bolts I was missing. I would recommend this item to friends and I have.Update: I carelessly stored my heaters and one blew over during a very heavy storm. Customer service could not be more helpful. The way I was treated made me feel like a family member. I could actually hear their sadness for me during the call. Damaged items were shipped to me immediately. I will follow their recommendation of using a bungee cord to secure the heater to my garage wall.Seriously, these are fantastic heaters and you should go all in if you’re thinking about purchasing one.

Great Heater - Great Service
We got this heater to use for cool nights on our deck. We put it together on a Friday and used it for an extended period of perhaps 7-8 hours on Saturday afternoon/night when the temperature was in the 30s/40s. It did a great job of heating the space we needed - we even had to turn it down to low at one point because it was too warm. It was easy to assemble and seems to be sturdy. One small issue in assemble is that the instructions indicated there are two different style of screws needed for assembly and there was only one type of screw in the hardware. Also note that, when you put the side panels on in the last step, you do not need additional screws - simply remove the screws used on the lower supports, put the side panels in place and replace the same screws. I contacted Tech Ventures to le them know about the "issues" with the instructions (mostly just my own confusion) - they were very helpful, indicated that they had edited the instructions, and would review them again based on my input. Very nice folks!

Nice
The media could not be loaded. Nice, we’re enjoying them. We purchased 2. They give a decent amount of heat but you have to be close to them to feel it.

Overall nice but cheaply made and assembly is pain
I bought three of these and putting them together was a pain. I'm very good building things and working with my hands. I generally have no problem assembling things and although the assembly process of these heaters was straightforward, it was quite time consuming because it comes in a relatively small flat box in little pieces. To make matters worse, the craftmanship and quality of the materials was pretty poor. In many places you are putting screws into ultra thin sheet metal which doesn't really hold too well and makes it difficult to go in straight due to the material being so thin (the screws want to lean sideways to follow the direction of the thread angle). For some parts where it was a proper screw mount with a long threaded hole, it holds strong but many of the holes were poorly threaded making a few of them difficult to secure without using excessive force. The metal grate is just dipped steal and in many places, the dipping was already chipped and rusted right out the box. Several of the hooks that you hang the grate by were bent out of place and wouldn't go on without bending them back into proper position. This just exacerbated the problem with the coat chipping.Lastly, the screws they provided could not have been any cheaper. In those cases where the poor threading on the holds made the screws not really want to go in smoothly, many of the screws heads stripped and ground into dust if I applied anything more than slight force. I was using my DeWalt electric screwdriver with the clutch set to 4 out of 17 positions (less than 25% force) and the philips screw heads would grind into round holes. Yes, I was using quality German-made Wiha bits that were the proper size. All in all, after they were assembled they seemed to work fine but I really wouldn't recommend these unless you have no other options. The excessive assembly hassles and low grade material and build quality means these likely will not last too long.

No heat!!
They did not provide heat. My guests had to stand up with their hands on the grill to feel any warmth at all.

Excellent heater
I bought this heater to replace a cheap heater which was, literally, falling apart. I read all the reviews about how difficult it was to assemble and I did not have any problems at all. The directions were obvious and all the materials were right there in a handy little labeled blister pack. My one (and only) complaint is that the instructions don't tell you how the base is to be oriented which gives you a 1 in 4 chance of getting it right, otherwise you have to disassemble the base and rebuild it. To save everyone a possible problem, the side with the slots (opposite from the wheels) has to be on the side with the controls! It never says anything about this in the instructions until the very last step. Otherwise this is perfect.
