Zona Plus-Series 3

This is a great device my blood pressure went down 50 points without having to take any medicine.

My cardiologist recommended I use this to lower my blood pressure. Just started to use it so can’t share results yet.

I have one. It works. It absolutely lowers blood pressure for me. I spend 5 minutes with it every day. It seems like it could be a scam, and the FDA even came after them because they can’t make the claims in their marketing that it’s a clinical device . So they won’t say it, but it’s true. The thing is expensive, but it actually helps.

The media could not be loaded. Even though the listing describes exactly what the Zona Plus does and how the exercises work, the actual experience of it was quite lacking. Its limited scope and poor 64-bit like graphics, just aren’t acceptable to me at this price point. The “exercises” are monotonous and it’s not as easy as you might think to just stare at a screen that’s counting down for 12 minutes. Extra visuals or even a small video would have helped at staying focused. Barring that, then more sound cues would have been effective.The Zona will show you limited information after each session, but you can’t go back and view that data on the device itself. You have to download software onto a pc if you want to track your progress. There’s not even a phone app for this product, so you’re stuck to pc use. Given that all you do is sit down and squeeze it, it’s actually a solidly made device. The heft is decent, it has a good grip width and the silicone areas keep it from slipping. The battery life is okay, losing only 50 percent after 7 daily sessions.The instructions say to try this for at least 6 to 8 weeks to see results. Unfortunately, it’s causing me some problems, so after only 8 days, I’m going to have to stop using it. I have a weak wrist on one hand and poor hand strength in the other. This device is supposed to calibrate for any issues and adapt the sessions to accommodate you. Instead, using this has exacerbated my ailments. My Zona score declined from an initial 97 to a 92 and my systolic pressure increased 11 points.Frankly, my wrists feel like they are on fire and my palms are tender. I type constantly so it’s not like I can just rest my hands for hours on end or keep ice packs on my wrists each day. I obviously can’t speak to what benefits this device may offer, but even if it eventually works on lowering blood pressure, I would still feel salty about its graphics and overall functionality.

Do not spend $600 on a "medical" item that is not approved by the FDA. When you try and get the software etc in (only on a laptop not phone or tablet!!) a letter to the company from the FDA pops up.I've returned mine. If you want to lower your heart rate, buy squeeze balls! about $5

This is a Gen 3, I'm still using my Gen 2. Don't expect this to be a fancy device to link to your phone, you're missing the point. Read how this tech was discovered by Dr. Ronald L. Wiley when working with F-16 pilots, fly by wire, the grip.I found out about this in a pilot magazine. My BP was climbing and I needed to pass my flight physical; Zona Plus reduced my BP as described. It took roughly 3-5 weeks to see steady BP results, but you need to use it 5 days a week, 12mins a day. Make it a routine.If you're serious about staying of meds, this is what I would recommend. The cost of the Zona will pay for itself quickly. The tech support and customer service over these years has always been tops. I can't recommend this unit enough, it works!
