The gold on the case looks a lot more shiny in the pics but the gold is a lot more matte. The blue part is shinier than the gold parts. The case is quite slim, which I like - not bulky at all.Update 07/29/17 - had this since February and now the gold PAINT is chipping off. Yes, the fold on the case is just paint on white plastic. Love the look but hate the chipping off paint!The volume buttons on the case lined up just right with the volume buttons on the phone but the power/lock button doesn't line up quite right. It still works but you have to press a harder to make it work. All other holes line up just right. Headphone area leaves plenty of room for headphone jack. Case fits snug but still easy to take on and off.I use wireless charging and yes, it still works with this case on.The case, in the pics, looks like the gold matches the platinum gold on the phone but it does not match. It's a few shades off but close enough to keep. LOLThe case is NOT supposed to cover all the edges so you can still reach all the areas on the "edge" of the phone.I've only had the case for a day so if anything goes bad with it like paint chipping I'll edit the review.

I'm quite pleased with this purchase, this phone case is pretty much exactly as I thought it would be when viewing it in the product listing, the only very minor complaint is that the buttons are a little bit difficult to locate due to their not protruding out but being flush with the surface, however I do not find that problematic; I am basically always able to find them pretty easily and I'm sure the longer I have it the more accustomed I will be to them. Overall it's a very nice sleek-looking case with really nice texture for holding it, it is 100% plastic, seems to be a combination of hard and soft plastic, so if you were thinking that the gold part is metal it's not. However in spite of being plastic it does feel durable to me and I'm not really worried about it being insufficient to protect the phone. It definitely leaves the edges open enough to be used and the hole around the charger port is the perfect size for a rather large magnetic charger that I got (also highly recommended, by DotNet), so that worked out nicely. I would have been bummed if the charger didn't fit with this case. Anyway very nice case, especially for the cheap price, I'm very satisfied.

The case is great to look at and durable as well.What I do not like about it is there is no way to tell, without looking, which button I am pressing. Those little, different from each other, bumps would be a nice addition.Plus, it does require a bit more force to press them than should be necessary, even after disassembling and cleaning.I definitely like the texture on the sides as it improves holding the phone without it slipping free and falling.I only wish there were a kick stand of some kind.Overall, I am very pleased with this case and will likely purchase another in the future.

the color is a perfect coral and the same gold as my s7 edge phone. The material is rough so there is no problems with it slipping out of your hand. It does not add much bulk to your phone either, and is very easy to put on. I took away stars though because it caused my very expensive screen protector to peel up on the edges and create bubbles and the side buttons are nearly impossible to use. I have to use a lot of force to use the volume buttons or the screen on button. Overall, its pretty good, but not sure it is worth the price.

I bought the blue one first. I really like it but after about a year, the gold had chipped off in some places. The blue part was fine (it's two pieces.) So I bought it again in melon, but frankly it doesn't quite look like the pictures. The pink is too garish and makes it look really, REALLY cheap. So I tossed the chipped gold frame and put the new gold frame back onto the blue rubber backing. It looks so much better than the pink. I want to get one more year out of this phone before I swap for an iPhone (Android, I don't know what the hell I was thinking!). But for 7.99 I'd recommend the blue.

I have to say I was highly disappointed whenever I received my case. There are a few things that I don't care for, I will explain in detail below.I opened my Melon/Gold case to find HOT PINK AND Silverish. Now there's a tomato and a to-mot-to but I wanted melon and gold to which I didn't get. The colors are not exact colors and for that main reason I'm highly disappointed.Second reason I'm disappointed. It says shock absorption, well feels plastic, so explain that to me.Thirdly, and this is probably JUST ME and nothing against the product or the seller of the product, it doesn't cover up my phone. The sides of the case don't even go up past the screen. Now, with that being said I have never owned a S7 or any type of phone with a curved screen like this so MAYBE that's how it is supposed to be.The seller was excellent to deal with. My product was received as promised (minus the color) and it was received in a timely manner.

This case seems sturdy, it fits the phone well. It's nice to have a little rim around the sides so that you can grip the phone without touching the edges. It is easy to hold. I haven't dropped my phone, so I don't know about the protection, but when face down on a table, you can slide a piece of paper between the phone screen and the table. My biggest problem with it so far is that it's really hard to push the on/off button with this case on. I have to look to see where the button is and then push really hard. It often takes a few tries. The melon color is fairly intense, if that's what you like.
