Review: Very good quality, great price - Looks beautiful and assembly was extremely easy (though I will say I am quite handy). The only caveat is that you must be careful to push the dowels firmly into their holes when drilling and screwing them in, or the cross-pieces (later step) will not align with their bolt-holes. Easier with two people; otherwise, press the first side firmly against a wall when putting the dowels in the second side. Also, I installed two sturdy 1 x 3s to my wall studs, then screwed the L-brackets into the 1 x 3s. Wouldn't trust wall anchors or even molly bolts - you need this piece to be firmly held by long, strong screws into studs. I felt no flex in the dowels (I am roughly 130 lbs.). Wood is a beautiful uniform color - looks amazing. Can't believe the price for the quality.

Would highly recommend drilling into studs instead for stability. Not the perfect craftsmanship but is doable and functional. Kids love it and climb all over it. Regardless of the pieces not lining up perfectly is still works and stays together pretty well.
