It is more expensive than what I would like but the smell is amazing. My daughter has super oily hair, and somehow used to get dry scalp that was always super itchy. Switched her to Nioxin and she has a healthy, happy scalp that smells amazing. The only negative is the price. The bottles are smaller than an average bottle of shampoo from the store, I'd say about the size of a normal bottle of hair spray. I guess I had high expectations because I was disappointed. Nioxin didn’t provide the relief I was hoping for for my dry, irritated scalp. Other shampoos have caused my scalp to be miserable and I was hoping Nioxin would really help. It stripped my color pretty quickly but I didn’t really get the scalp relief I was hoping for.

I’ve had severe dry scalp for years now. Like after a shower and drying my hair, my scalp would already be shedding and peeling. I’ve spent a lot of money trying different things from Briogeo to Oribe to Kiehls to Aveda… thousands of dollars on hair care over the years. It’ll work for the first couple weeks and then back to dry scalp. I have to constantly change my shampoo and conditioner due to this so have never had the chance to finish any of the products…When I first tried this product, it didn’t work. I was still getting dry scalp with the 3 step process. I loved the smell of it though so continued to use it. After a couple weeks of use, I noticed that I was less flaky. Then after a month, no dry scalp at all— in DECEMBER when my scalp is typically super dry!! Now we’re at the end of January and barely any dry scalp! I was so amazed at the results even my fiancé had mentioned it to me. I’m almost done with the set that I bought and I have to say… I will def continue using this product. It may have not had the fastest results but it definitely has lasting results!

this is the only shampoo that has helped my severe dry scalp.. also love the scent, its very refreshing and not that strong, i got compliments bc of it :) i use it at least twice a week to help my dry scalp.. pleaseee get this one if you're gonna use a lot bc you save a to of money. (the 6 oz is $4 per oz, this 33 oz is $1.7 per oz!)

It definitely works to soothe and not in the tingling minty way either, which I like. Didn't completely rid my hair and scalp of flakes, but it did reduce them without making my roots greasy. Been using for about three weeks, don't think I will be repurchasing as I think I might need something a little bit more specific, but I would recommend this for someone needing to soothe an itchy scalp.

I bought this because I seem to have a sensitivity and allergic reaction to most shampoos with sulfates. This last reaction was pretty bad, so I needed something to soothe my scalp big time. I've used this shampoo twice and it is working already to calm the itching and irritation. The bottle size is larger than I expected and the price is what I might pay at a salon. I do have to wash, rinse and repeat to get my thick hair clean but product use is not excessive. You won't get a head full of lather, but it still cleans. It is just different, so don't expect the same performance as a sulfate shampoo. I would recommend you give it a try. I may continue to use it regularly as my new shampoo to prevent flare ups.

My scalp can be super finicky so I decided to buy an expensive set of shampoo and conditioner. I heard really good things about it, however I was extremely disappointed. The shampoo dried out my hair but also left the sticky residue behind. The conditioner doesn't condition well. And by the time I was done using all three products, it felt like there was just as much buildup on my scalp as before.The only good thing I can say about this product is it does smell good.I would not recommend this product.

I'm sure this product does the job and stops the itch but if you're sensitive to strong cheap perfume then stay away from this stuff. I washed my hands in it to see if it was as bad as others said it was and yes it was. I had to re wash my hand a couple time to get rid of the cheap perfume smell
