Wonderful selection of colors . Blend well and easy to work with.

It was clumped with seperation between the pigment and binder that mixing could not correct. Very watery and not as opaque or pigmented as gouache should be. I am a professional artists who gave these a try to see if I could save some money, as I do mixed media and it can be hard to invest in everything. This was a waste of money for me. I would have been ok if it was just low pigment, low cost supplies are usually going to be lower in quality and that can sometimes make cool effects. But the clumps that clung to the brush or made globs on the paper made this extremely unusable. I would not give these to a budding artist school age or up, but they could be fun maybe for really young kids who aren't trying to make a masterpiece just because of all the colors.

I love the variety and quality of the colors. The paint itself is very very clumpy. Mixing multiple colors together is difficult. The key is adding the right amount of water slowly and mixing and mixing until you get the right consistency and get rid of those clumps! It works well for me now that I have the process worked out and I’m happy with the paint overall.

The paint came out of each of the tubes in a gelatinous curdled glob that would not be smoothed out by mixing it on its own, with water, or even with gum arabic, rendering them unusable. Frustrating, to say the least, but live and learn. You'd do better getting the intro grade equivalent at a craft store.Edit:I honestly thought I'd edited this a while ago, sorry. So, GenCraft contacted me after my initial review and granted me a full refund. I was not expecting that at all. When I'm in need of more paints, I'll give them another go just based on how well that interaction went! I upped my rating from 1 to 3, but since I can't vouch for the product as it is intended by the manufacturer just yet, I can't really give it anything higher.But seriously, they were professional and understanding. Give them a chance. If nothing else, the colors themselves are vibrant and in a wide variety. I think I just got a bad/old batch.

I would recommend these paints to any artist they go on nice and the drawings turn out fantastic from them as you can tell I'm an artist I bought these several times and I will keep buying them

The media could not be loaded. These are not smooth, opaque, or blendable, which makes them… idk what, but not gouache. They come out like lumpy gel, they don’t want to go onto or come off of the brush, they dry streaky, and even without mixing any water, they aren’t opaque. 4 oz tubes of actual gouache should last a long time, but these take so much paint to completely cover a surface that I will probably go through any color I use in a few weeks of painting a 5x7 every day. Not at all worth buying. Spend the extra $20 and get yourself paint that works how it’s supposed to.
