The picture doesn't do it justice. It is really beautiful and well built. The large eye needles are a breeze to thread. I'm so happy I purchased this product.

This case has a screw on lid which is nice; it ensures your needles won't fall out, but the case is plastic and not wood as described. The needles are large eye for easier threading, but the thickness of the metal is really thick. If you are doing any sort of embroidery or hand sewing, these are not for delicate work. If using these for cross stitch, these would work for 10 count aida cloth, maybe 12. Anything finer will get distorted due to the large needle eye.Honestly, you are probably better off with one of the circular plastic assorted needle packs that come with a threader.

This sewing needle and embroidery set has a great selection of different sized needles with eyes that are a good size to thread. The needle holder is useful and holds all the needles without issue. It has a beautiful design that can be easily transported and the lid stays on tight. The handle is decorative but strong as well.I found the smaller needles (which I prefer to use in embroidery) are much sharper and pass through the Aida cloth much easier than the larger sized needles. The larger needles are a tad duller which makes passing it through thicker material difficult without the use of the thimble. However, threading any size is very simple and frustration-free.The cost of this set is very reasonable considering the usefulness and quality of the holder as well as the array of needle sizes you receive. I would recommend this set, especially for the smaller needles and the stylish and practical holder.

This is a great find! I have been looking for a case like this to carry needles in for many years, my grandma had one when I was little and I was always fascinated with it. The case is really well made, super solid and the lid isn't likely to come off when its being carried around. The needles in it are also really fantastic. As soon as they arrived I started using them and they have worked for whatever I have thrown at them from tapestry to cross stitch to mending. These are my new workhorses!

I love the container these needles come in, it’s really beautiful. The needles have really big, long eyes which are easy to thread but the larger needles leave too big of a hole in most fabrics. The small ones are better then the larger ones. I actually like the container better then the needles.

Nice lanyard , with beads & spacers.Lid is secure, you dont want needles spilling out everywhere.Needles are nice- a sharps type, and are a bigger size . Maybe even too many for this case at one time, but that's fine.
