50mm is the length of these but what size is the gap where the rail goes between

Very disappointed in these, very loose fit, trying to find our original hooks! Apparently, they are not used as much, according to one store!good luck.

No-one seems to have a proper answer to the question asked multiple times of what is the length of the part the glider that actually grips the rail?
