Char-Broil Universal Fit H Burner

My husband bought this to replace the one we had in our grill that wasn't working. This works great easy setup and we are grilling almost every night this summer! Good quality great fit and does the job perfectly!

I have a "new" grill! I muddled through with my rusted, "holey" burner for years. Felt too costly and difficult to replace burner. After all: it's gas, couldn't find exact replacement, didn't believe in universal replacement.This was almost half the price of others, able to return if wrong fit via Amazon, fit perfectly.Wanted to keep my old grill frame because the cover is thick metal that loses less heat.With the new burner, the grill burns hotter, and more efficiently and even.About installation: note that the burner feed tubes stretch to fit distance to controls, and the two clips that secure the fitting end to the controls. Outside of that, just screw on the feet, clean out the grill inside, and drop new unit in.

Easy to install, works well and fitted perfectly

This is around the fifth unit I have installed into the same grille. It is easily assembled and installed with a single screwdriver. It works well. But, I do not believe the burner is stainless steel. Despite what is printed on the box, the previous units have all rotted out in around three years. What is always in good shape when I remove the old burner is the hardware, and that is what I believe is made of stainless steel. These burners work well for a few years but do not expect them to last too long.

We needed to replace the deteriorating internal components of our Broilmaster grill, includig the H shaped burner. We finally did find an original Broilmaster replacement, but at about four times the cost of this universal burner, and without the gas supply connections. We decided to take a chance that it would fit the grill, partly because of the great price, and also because the universal replacement already had the attachments to make connections to the gas supply. It was very easy to install, fit our grill perfectly and has a very even flame pattern. We're happy with the H burner replacement and looking forward to using our grill again.

The Char-Broil Universal Fit H Burner does a good job of providing even heat for grilling, which is essential for great cooking results. The burner feels sturdy and well-made, but I found the installation process a bit tricky—some adjustments were needed to connect it properly in my grill. Once installed, it performs well, but it may take some extra effort to get it set up right. Overall, it’s a solid burner for the price, but be prepared for a bit of a learning curve during installation.
