My dog had a small hairless reddish hot spot on his knee that looked moist. The vet called it a "lick granuloma," but it looked like a standard hot spot that dogs get sometimes. He licked at it constantly. It drove him crazy. I spent well over $100 on many different veterinary spray or ointment or gel products for "hot spots." None did a thing to help. I kept his knee bandaged for nearly 2 months so he could not lick it and applied all those different products, to no avail.Finally I found this product and gave it a try. Literally within a day or 2 the hot spot started improving quite visibly. The moist inflamed look went away and the look of normal skin returned. Over the next few weeks, hair started returning at the edges of the healing hot spot, filling it in to look like normal fur again. I did stop using it too soon when the hot spot was only 75% healed -- and the hot spot started returning, so I resumed use of the product, and once again it immediately started helping. No more redness or moistness, and he immediately stopped licking it again. Within a day or 2 of using this product, I could stop bandaging his knee since he was no longer licking it.This is literally the only product of the 8 or 10 products I've tried that actually heals hot spots, eliminates the itching within a day or 2, and promotes normal hair growth again.The directions say to rub the pad gently on the skin, but I actually ball up the pad and squeeze out the liquid in the pad directly onto the affected skin so more of the product gets directly on the hot spot. (Maybe 7-10 drops come out of each pad; it's not a lot.) If I could redesign this product, I would do away with the pads and sell the product in a squeeze bottle and tell customers to squeeze 7-10 drops directly onto the affected area. The pads are kind of a hassle to deal with (they are all stuck together in the jar, and it's difficult to separate them as they are quite thin).But overall, the product WORKS and has saved my dog lots of suffering and frustration.

Is a spray on, rub in a bit, and there you go! I noticed the scratching reduced as I went along with the applications. Allowing the skin condition to benefit from the "antifungal,antibacterial,antiyeast" I applied as treatment ("Curaseb" Bexley labs)My personal choice though, was to keep the applications of this two products separate throughout the day. I figured it would be best not to apply them together.I am no vet, but as a consumer I know different products have different chemicals or ingredients that can cause a reaction when applied together, if they interact the wrong way. Unless vet is prescribing something to be done in a certain way, I rather play it safe. But doggie is doing much better, and healing well. :-)

This product is absolutely amazing!We purchased this for our senior dog who struggles with skin allergies and this has been helping him tremendously.It is lightly scented, smells great and very easy to use.The fact that it has been formulated by vets really puts my mind at ease.I will definitely be buying this and other products from Vetnique again since they’ve been so helpful for my dog!

I bought this because I read reviews from other customers who had high praises for it. I was skeptical but figured I had nothing to lose since my dogs were suffering from horribly itchy skin every single day. It came, I used it and to my pleasant surprise it actually works. I'm not big on writing reviews but I feel compelled to share with everyone just how great this stuff is. Within an hour the itching/scratching stopped. I am buying more because I have 2 dogs and I want to keep it well stocked. If you have pets that are scratching and chewing on themselves then do yourself (and your baby) a huge favor and get Dermabliss.

so my fur babies look forward to these every morning we have only been on them 2 weeks and i have noticed coats seem to be shiner. will let you know more later. i did sign up for auto ship

These chews are wonderful. My dogs have been on them for about a month and they are working on them. I was a little skeptic at first but now I ordered another bag. I give this product 2 thumbs up.

I am a first time buyer of this item. As my pup has only been ion it for about 10 days, gave 4 stars cause of this fact. She is eating the "cookie" with no issues. But not 100% sure that she will not have an allergy issue just yet. Am thankful she likes it & hope it will do as promised. Their other product "scoot" has really been a delight, therefore, pray this will too. Am glad that this has a lot of different vitamins, so it is still a win win for us. Will send another review in few weeks. if things change. Think this company is a jewel only problem is that their offer of 20% off first order does NOT work. I had to go to Amazon for products. Also could not get any email response about the discount. Put product seems to be tasty for my pup !!!

Both of our dogs started having allergy symptoms like scratching, sneezing, red eyes and eye discharge about 6 weeks ago. I didn’t like giving them Benadryl as it did make them sleepy. I was looking for a more natural approach, so I now give them Dermabliss. It has alleviated the scratching and sneezing and the eye symptoms are somewhat improved. I will continue to use the product at least throughout the summer.

I purchased this for an elderly dog who constantly licks, thinking that it may have been an allergy.He loves the taste of these chunks which are an ideal size. I have not used it long enough to assess if it works yet.

It smells loverly and there fur is softer than ever

My dog is and has been affected by the heat. Vet charges $70 just to walk in then charges another $120 for a 15-minute appt.Then charge another $100 for the same shampoo.I have never spent $40 on a bottle of shampoo in my life but this was well money spent and actually saved me a lot in Vet bills.100% recommend this product even if your pet is healthy.

Bought the dermabliss anti-itch allergy relief shampoo in May 2021, at the time there was a rebate and I paid $23.61 + tx. I was very satisfied with the shampoo and was extremely upset when I wanted to get a few more bottles and found out it was no longer available. more upset knowing that most of the reviews were very positive. I really loved that shampoo for some of my dogs who have very dry skin problems. It's a bit like COSTCO you love something and all of the sudden there's no more. I can't believe a product well liked just becomes unavailable it's a shame. Meanwhile I settled on buying two bottles of dermabliss anti-bacterial & anti-fungal and even though it seems ok it's nothing at all like the anti-itch allergy relief. Bought two just in case it becomes unavailable as well.
