Does detect alcohol, however reads zero when I have a low amount in my system (still under the limit). I have a second tester.

So I have trusted this device for the sake of the morning after so far... However this evening out of curiosity and a bottle of wine I thought I would see what I blew, whilst drinking. Apparently I am 2.00 as I write this ... Hmmm. I am not sure on how the decimals work as I am not so great with maths, however googled and I should be unconscious according to science websites etc lol. So checked here just to make sure I am reading it right and up I am waaasted... APPARENTLY. So now slightly questioning its accuracy.

Very handy tool if you are out the night before for a meal and a few drinks you can test yourself before you go driving. And its very accurate.

Spot on.I don't drink. Bought it to check anyone pissed and going to drive. I hate drink drivers . Will make them use it after I take their keys off them.So be aware. Dont drink and drive

I used this while I was sober and it told me I was over the limit to drive. I used it when I had several drinks and it gave me several different readings, some of which told me I was safe to drive when I know I was way above the limit. Piece of junk

Complete mind of its own. Sometimes reports 0.50, sometimes 0.00Used after one beer, and on another night after several. All results different and on the odd occasions the device still told me I was legal to drive!Cant get my money back as its been used but I wouldnt waste yours.

Reads as double the drink drive limit even if you don’t blow into it. Don’t waste the money.
