I took a chance on Olay's Total Effects Body Wash when I saw it on Amazon and decided to buy the two pack. I had never tried an Olay body wash before but I sure am glad I did!I will say, this body wash is pricey. The cheapest I found it was on Amazon for the 2 pack, putting the bottles at about 6 dollars a pop. It smelled amazing and was very thick. You don't have to use a lot of it for that reason. I used it to shave my legs as well and didn't have to use shaving cream. When I got out of the shower, the whole bathroom smelled like this stuff and I didn't feel the need to put on lotion afterwards because my skin felt so moisturized. I will admit, it took me a little time to get used to the "sticky" feeling my skin had after getting out of the shower, but it didn't last long and I have no problem with it now that my skin has adapted to the added moisture.This product claims to leave you with smoother skin after 1 shower, improved elasticity after 1 week and younger looking, radiant skin after 1 month. Check, check and check! This body wash really did improve the way my skin looked. For me, it was definitely worth the money! I will continue to use this product and others like it in the Olay family. They also have the Olay Total Effects Body Lotion that I would love to try.

Before buying this, I've been using various types of body wash to try and achieve soft skin, to no avail. Then I settled on Bath & Body products for the various fragrances. This Olay body wash has a light, pleasant scent, which is fine for me. The best part of switching to this body wash is the fact you notice results after the second wash! The second time I showered with this body wash, my skin was softer and doesn't make my skin feel dry if I don't put on lotion right away after drying off. I definitely noticed results on my feet, which used to be extremely dry, chapped, and just plain ugly. But after using both the wash and lotion, I can wear sandals and try on shoes in public with no more shame.I use this along with the Olay Total Effects Body Lotion and the results are amazing! It is pricey, especially if you pair it with the lotion, but considering how great your skin feels afterwards is well worth the price (plus it's the price for TWO containers instead of one).

Okay, I have gone through many, many exfoliating body washes. We live along the coast in South Texas and 9 months of the year it's over 100 F and it's normal to have 100% humidity. I guess because I've always lived here, I can not stand to wear any kind of lotions, sunblocks or even make up because it always feels like it's "covering" my pores. When you can't help but sweat sitting still, the last thing you want is to cover up your skin.I regularly use an exfoliating wash and my regular brand of many years, quit making it, so I had to find something else. I have been through SO MANY it's not even funny. This is the one that I use regularly now, I love it. It doesn't quite have the "scrubbing" beads I'm used to, but that's my only complaint. I have read some reviews that said it leaves them oily feeling or greasy??? Did not do that at all to me. It smells good and feels great, in the shower and when I'm out and dry. It also suds' up great and just an overall super product. Believe me, if it felt like my skin was coated in anyway, I wouldn't be able to use it. This just leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for an exfoliating body wash.

You might also know that they haven't had that same rich formulation in their bar soap for many years, but have come out with a line of body washes competing with the Olay product under review.I have finely-textured skin that has just become more dry and scaly with each passing year. My worst "problem areas" are my elbows and calves. My legs and arms actually flake and itch and have "dandruff" under the friction of my clothes in the winter. I have many times scratched my calves until they bled.When the 1/4 cleansing cream people first came out with their own moisturizing body wash, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. No more having to soak in oil and scour out the bath daily to keep everyone from slipping. It resolved the worst of my dryness problems by leaving a creamy, silky coating on my skin. I told them so, to which they replied in appreciation. And then immediately began diddling with their main formula and introducing other products in that line, none of which was ever as good as their original body wash.Olay Total Effects Deep Penetrating Moisture has come to my rescue. It feels like I have luxuriously creamed or oiled my entire body. There is a cumulative effect because when I run out, it takes two or three showers with other products to dry my skin out again. Unfortunately, I have trouble finding it everywhere, so I have happily begun a subscription through Amazon.Now I only pray they realize what a good thing they have going and don't start skimping on the effective ingredients (like customers won't notice!).
