Ridiculously cheap material. The biggest joke is that the lid is so heavy that no amount of make up brushes can be heavy enough to endure the weight of the lid when you attempt to keep the lid open. What's the point? I literally need to take out one brush at a time while keeping the lid open and then closing it before the rest of the brushes inside topples over
