This is a very good pen at a great price.The pen has a very good feel, the weight is very good with a good balance. The nib is very good quality. It writes very smoothly with a smooth ink output making a clear smooth line. I have been writing it for that last 4 days. I compared it to a Pilot fountain pen and another Zenzbi bamboo fountain pen. I like the weight a nib quality a little better and use the Premiere fountain pen the most. I bought these pens to improve my writing and to get started in practicing calligraphy. I have always liked fountain pens and the Premiere fountain pen is a pleasure to use.

It's a very nice pen. Writes smoothly,solid and cleanly made.

It writes the first time every time-great. The tip (nib) is listed as 'fine'. But it actually writes a line more than twice as broad as a medium point ball point pen. As such it does not meet my needs. I wasted my $50 on this. How many stars would you give for a product that does not do asadvertised?

i feel bad giving it three stars b/c the people at premiere have been wonderful. best service i've ever had on anything. the first pen leaked and the writing was too thick and watery. they send me a new pen--it took a while to get to me; it is not the same pen but that's okay except it has a nonremovable ink holder so you need to buy ink; this gets a litttle messy but i'm okay with it. the new pen doesn't close like the old one and also has some problems but a much cleaner script. I'm using noodler's black ink; the script of the new pen is light and watery but the pen flows smoothly on paper and does not scratch; it has a solid construction and it is good for thick hands like mine. In additon to the fountain pen they included a gel pen and a note of apology for the delay. the gel pen is a surprise and nice addition. still i was looking for a fountain pen that was a delight to write with and worked like a charm, this isn't it.

Very nice fountain pen. Very well constructed, very nice cap and pen barrel. The nib is gorgeous and the ink flow is smooth with any skipping. The ink converter works very well and holds a substantial amount of ink without any leaking. I would expect to pay much more for a pen of this quality. It writes wonderfully. Prior to the arrival of my pen I received an email from premier brands with great instructions on filling the converter and cleaning instructions. A very nice touch.

Wow for just $50 this is a great pen value (if your into fountain pens) this has a very good feel, substantial feel but not heavy, very smooth and the matt finish always looks elegant. For the money this is the pen to buy. If its your first one this draws the ink up through the nib unlike other pens where the reservoir​ comes out and you fill it and replace it in the pen.

This pen is just what I have been looking for, it is made of quality craftsmanship and the price is reasonable.
