My OEM Weber igniter rusted out, so I ordered this as a replacement. It was very simple to install and works identical to the original part.The original plastic button cover broke and then let water into the battery compartment. This kit includes two plastic covers, so I'll be able to replace the cover when it inevitability happens again.The metal spark cage does rust quickly if it gets wet.

Ordered for my husband for his Blackstone 28. He, unlike any other man I have ever known, is not only extremely handy, but never tackles a project without thoroughly reading ALL instructions. Any difficulties he had were due to the design of the Blackstone, not the ignitor kit.The Blackstone wasn't working before but it is now!

So glad I found this igniter! After buying my grill second hand, I saw that it was taking too long to fire up. Replaced the igniter and we're back in business! More affordable than the OEM version, arrives quickly and installs easily!

Always check fitment before buying everything worked great

Only used it once to test it after installing it. Worked fine. Following week it rained. After the weather cleared up I went to use it and upon pressing the ignitor button water came out of the edges of the button! Opened it up and the whole battery compartment was flooded and the brand new battery was drained of power. No luck restoring function after drying it out and replacing battery. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you grill is completely protected from the elements at all times. Very disappointed.

I had my doubts that it would work but it did! I have a 3 plus 1 side burner (Napoleon) BBQ. Oddly the side burner had an electric starter but the three main burners had the infamously unreliable click to light piezo igniters. They were noisy and infuriatingly unreliable. With this unit, I was able to swap out the single factory unit with this 4 lead unit (in my case, I needed to use a round file to enlarge the factory hole by about 1mm which was the hardest part of the project). The side burner factory wire fit perfectly on this unit and the installation of the three igniter leads to my three burners was a snap with a drill and some #8 sheet metal screws. Bending the leads to about 5mm of the burner was even easier. Now, when I press the button, all four burners spark away with instant ignition to whatever burner I turn on. A very easy upgrade if you have basic tools and well worth it to get rid of the click to light nonsense.

The media could not be loaded.  J’ai reçu aujourd’hui l’item mais il manquait le bouton poussoir…par chance que j’avais l’ancien qui était compatible. Ça marche sur BBQ Napoleon! Juste de vous assurer avoir le modèle avec batterie AAA et diamètre du filet de 18-19 mm. Le 22 mm est trop grand.
