Ceiling Fan Up/Down Light Remote Control

We recently bought a house that has a ceiling fan (probably big box brand like Hampton Bay) with up/down lights and adjustable fan speed in the living room but no strings to control lights or fan speed. Just a wall switch so when we turned it on the fan would come on at high speed and the light was set on the dimmest seeing. Checked local hardware stores for just the remote control but they only had kits that were pretty expensive ($50+). At that price, I was seriously considering buying a new fan for an extra $50-100. So glad I decided to check Amazon before breaking down and buying a new ceiling fan! The remote works perfectly and the price was great! Saved me a lot of money, time and aggravation. 😁

it functions opposite the factory unit but it woks with my fan

This remote was perfect. Installed a battery, set the dip switches to match the receiver and it was done. Works perfectly! I would recommend this product to anyone.

One of the buttons on our previous remote stopped working some time ago. This remote works perfectly to replace our original Hampton Bay remote. It looks exactly the same and it even fits in our original remote holder. This worked so well that we bought 2 and the price was way less than the brand name remote.
