Wow -- what a POS. Windows 10 runs like a quadriplegic trying to go up the down escalator. I click to open anything and have to wait 15-20 seconds. I finally got frustrated enough to toss in an SSD and put Linux on it. Then again, considering the price, it could have been worse. I don't recommend buying this if you plan on running windows 10.

This is my first Lenovo PC or laptop and it will probably be my last.Even at the very modest price which impresses me as being completely in line with the performance capabilities of this model, the quality control issues I had with it straight of the box make it unlikely I'll ever take a chance on any other units from this manufacturer. Immediately, I could see that the door to the optical drive was out of alignment and after powering up the CPU, it proved to be inoperable until I opened the casement and repositioned the prongs for the spring load. I had to open it up anyway, two of the four screws to secure the motherboard were rolling around inside the case as well.Yes, this unit will most likely suffice for potential users where usage needs are limited to internet surfing, email, and minimally demanding applications. Memory can be increased to a maximum of 8Gb and it does allow the addition of a couple of PCIe cards but with the inauspicious unboxing, I'm hesitant to suggest anyone with even those basic requirements take the chance.

I have one of these computers, out of the box it is slow. If you want to do some email and browse the web then it will work for you. I am able to watch a movie on it. Don't expect much, don't try for games beyond Solitaire. Add an SSD drive and it does work better. I also found that the VGA graphics helped the computer run faster than the HDMI graphics. Not sure why but there was a 20% performance gain when switching between them.

Update 2: I removed two more stars. I thought this would serve as my one desktop, a place where I could gather all the data I generate and store it. This would not require a whole lot of computing power. Sure it's slow I thought, but once it is up and running it should be fine. This computer is so slow it reminds me of the old IBM 8088's. I mean slo-o-o-o-o-o-w. I couldn't stand it any longer, so I am ordering a different desktop.Not recommended.Update. With daily use, I've removed a star. This computer still does what I need, but it IS slow. I've seen some comments about this computer being slow... it's certainly not a gaming computer. You have to look at this for what it is. A simple everyday computer. Add a $50 monitor and your good to go for less than 300 bucks. It’s not meant for todays hard core games or video editing.We use it for our every day usage like streaming music, the internet and MS word. It works perfectly for all of those things. We don’t do anything with pictures. or games on this computer. It sits on the counter with a cheap monitor. perfect for recipes. No more slopping up my tablet. We use the  Dell E151FP E15 15 Inch Flat Panel Monitor  with this and it's perfect.

This is a very basic computer. NOT for gamers or even basic gamers. This is for email, word processing, etc.Easy to set uo and use, seems reliable and starts up and is not super loud when running.Again, basic model computer than can do most tasks with ease, short of buying a better graphics card, this is great for people like my mom who only use a computer to back up their iphone pics and fo email stuff.

This Lenovo desktop computer provides good basic functionality at a reasonable price. It is easy to hook up, and compact in size. It includes a keyboard and mouse, but you will need to supply a monitor, speakers and other peripherals. All in all, a good option if you're looking for a basic computer to do web browsing and word processing. We installed it in my son's room, and it meets his needs for homework and school projects.
