Pottery underglaze transfer printing
This paper works quite well for pottery underglaze transfer printing (essentially a paper decal). The glazed surface accepts silk screen ink transfer with good integrity. Permeability is a bit less than would make for an easy transfer (other smooth exam table papers behave similarly), but wet strength is better than thin Asian calligraphy practice papers, ink line definition is superior, and damp peel behavior is generally clean, without tearing or fibrous residues (calligraphy papers rate lower on peel behavior).

Using it for sewing patterns / tracing
Perfect for tracing sewing patterns from Burda Style magazine. It's easy enough to see through, and it's nice and wide so I can easily make full pattern pieces (instead of half pieces) when necessary. It doesn't tear too easily (though it's not the sturdiest paper, it's sturdier than tissue paper), and is somewhat drapeable so that I can tissue fit with it easily. It's probably great for it's intended purpose as well, but that's not why I bought it :-).

Perfect for waxing table
My wife is an esthetician & used this for her waxing table. She loves the price and how easy it tears off. Perfect for a small spa.

Trace patterns, anyone?
I made this purchase purely to trace sewing patterns. The 27" width is perfect for some patterns pieces to be laid out side by side. Would have been a 5 star, but it does tend to tear more easily than others.

Perfect for making fabric patterns
Instead of buying expensive pattern paper, you can use this to trace and cut your own patterns! More durable than waxed paper, and less stiff than coated butcher paper.
