The clinique salesman said this could only be used in combination with the moisture surge cream as it is a booster. Is that true?

Agree w all other comments. That’s ridiculous… that said, moisture surge is a great product. I’ve only used it on its own. For breakout prone skin or more combo or oily the other is better. I could see them being great together, as hydration is a plumping drink of water for your skin, & this is more how MS works, as it’s a thick gel like treatment… & DDML is lotion or cream, more emollient for skin elasticity and oil replenishing. Now that I’m older (42) I can use either. Previously in life though this made me break out. You do have me wanting some of the moisture surge now though cause I remember liking it a lot on my oily(/combo) skin first tried & used as a teen! I’ve never been like super impressed by the dramatically diff stuff, as there’s so many products in existence, however I’m sure it’s not in the top 100 (sometimes 10) of all time for no reason. Is Clinique cruelty free? They still test on animals?

No, it is not tested on animals in the USA. In China it is a requirement with an independent panel. All ingredient are allergen free and no Parabens are used. Making it an excellent choice.

Is this a new bottle - not one that has been on the shelf for awhile?

Gosh, I didn’pay that much attention once I removed the bottle from its box. Everything looked good to me.

Based on the reviews, is it true this produce is counterfeit/old?

I like it very much. Have used it for years and can tell no difference in the products. I started getting the item from amazon because of COVID so I did not have to go to the store. The quality is the same and It IS made in the USA.

Früher habe ich diese Lotion öfters gekauft, einmal sogar auf Ibiza, weil ich meine gesamte Kosmetik vergessen hatte. Zwischendurch öfter mal was anderes gehabt, Neues ausprobiert, komme aber immer wieder darauf zurück. Ich bekam übrigens hier bei Amazon definitiv das Originalprodukt. Es pflegt sehr gut! Ich mag auch den Geruch, der ist für mich einzigartig angenehm in der Nase, obwohl die Lotion nicht parfümiert ist. Ein altbewährter Klassiker und das Geld wert, meiner Meinung nach!
