This is exactly what we needed. Nice to have a remote that goes with the tv without having to program anything. Arrived quickly. Put the batteries in and viola....working tv remote.

as with every other apex remote I've tried - this one doesn't work either. Why are apex remotes so hard to find/match to apex tv's!? at this point I'm considering just replacing the whole tv because this issue is impossible to fix (the buttons on the side of the tv only work intermittently -- one out of every 7-10 pushes actually does something -- so not having a working remote makes the tv pretty much useless.)

I lost=t the remote that came with the tv and all I did to install this was turn the tv on and it programed itself..Love it

This item does not work at all. It's not that it is not the proper one for my television it's that it does not work at all. Brand new batteries, placed in the proper direction and when you hit any button the light on the top of it doesn't even light up. Even if it was the wrong one for my model TV when working the light would at the least light up.
