Crosley CR3038A-BK Lewis Retro AM/FM Bluetooth Tabletop Radio, Black

I do not leave reviews often but when I see so many mixed reviews before I buy something on Amazon I wonder what the product will really be like. I could not get over the appearance of this radio so I bought it even with mixed reviews - it looked like the perfect addition to a 50's style office and it is! It looks great. It is larger than you think it would be which is nice. The radio works well - and the Bluetooth is very easy to pair. The clock is a nice electric sweeping hand clock which always feels high end. The feedback you read about audio quality is correct - it is not an expensive system - it does not have very deep rich super loud sound - but it is very nice for easy radio listening and background music while working, etc. I recommend it for the appearance and ease of use.

The Crosley Lewis clock radio is an exact replica of the version from 1958 by Crosley & looks completely identical to the original, including knobs & leatherette cover. Very classy mid century design that fits both retro & modern interiors. Good quality with metal grilles for speaker on one side & where the controls are located on other side. The updated feature is of course Bluetooth, that is easy to pair with yr phone etc. Clock works on a battery, separately from the other features & is handy if there is a power outage. Sound is loud & clear from the speaker & the telescope antenna makes it easy to tune in to stations. The clock is lit for a few seconds by a small knob, perfect for checking the time in a darkened bed room. I Really appreciate that this product as well as many others from Crosley, use a dc adapter, making it easy to use in Europe since this clock radio is not available in Holland where I live. Highly recommended!!

This product was very disappointing. I bought this as a Christmas gift, and it broke within a week. No sound or light. The manufacturer even sent me a free power cord, to no avail. Looks great. I should have read the reviews before purchasing.

We love it. Elegant and nice to look at. The sound quality is good. Some stations sound way better than others.-The only thing, I'd love it if the inside light could stay on all night, this way people would be able to see the time at night.- It is a beautiful radio. It is quite big, I thought it would be smaller, but that is ok.- Looks great and it is tricky to operate so I suggest to really read the instructions.- The alarm kept on going off all the time, but we figured that we had to use the front (right) function golden knob to set it at "OFF" and this is the MAIN button to turn the radio ON and OFF.- If using the alarm, then leave on FM, then use the lower button on the right side of the radio.- Anyway, looks great, sounds pretty good, same as my old radio, but sound-wise not a high end product otherwise the cost would be probably in the $500 range.

I bought this because of the way it looks. I use this to play mellow music, relatively quietly, in my dining room. I think if I wanted to blast some Godsmack I *might* be dissatisfied in the sound quality.You can only have one bluetooth device paired. So my phone is paired; but if Im out of the house, and my husband wants to pair his phone to the radio, it wont accept it. That part is weird to me.I could not get any AM stations, but several FM came in well.I bought it primarily for the look and I am not disappointed. It was bigger than I thought it would be. Some of the reviews made it seem like it was too small. I do not think it is too small.

My clock loses probably 2 or 3 minutes a day. Sure is attractive though.

We've enjoyed this clock radio for a little over 6 months. This week, the small knob that turns to set the alarm completely stopped working. I can no longer turn it in any direction! We can turn the radio off and on by another dial that pushes in and out, but for the alarm, it is stuck to the on position and will not turn off. I can understand this happening after a long time use or with abuse. But this was turning on at night and off in the morning. I think 7-8 months is a short lifetime for an item like this. This is such a disappointment.

I like the retro look. It is well built, has decent sound and all functions work. I have been using this now for a few months with no issues. Bluetooth connects without any issues, plenty of volume and no distortion at a higher volume. It really does look great with my 40's decor!
