The only bad thing is the zippers pulleys are held by like a U shape metal thing and sometimes the U shape opens (it's supposed to be like if the U closed at the top like locking the zipper pulley in place) this is an easy fix. 1. just take a metal clamping tool and apply force to secure the U CLOSED. Alternatively you can be experimental like me and use whatever you want like spare leather strips as the pulleys. Because the sipper pulley U is separate piece on it's own. The actual zipper on the backpack has a slot you can slide in string, wire, metal U pulleys.Bought my first bag at TJ Maxx. This 20$ more expensive here. Spilled yogurt and fruit in it and the fruit rotted in the summer heat and clung to the material. So I needed a replacement. The number 1 reason this is worth the price is the "bucket" Dump Things In Easy - Ness of it. It's purpose is a duffel bag hybrid but I use it for the flea market, night classes, traveling. Unlike the next generation of this bag, this first verison is the best. It has multiple pockets on the inside as well as a BIG open SPACE that can fit thick BINDERS ---and a separate zipper section for your laptop and folders.At any one time I have2 pencil cases 6 inch length 2 inch wide1 rolled up rain jacket1 pack of regular size baby wipes 3- 2 inch binders (kind of squeeze) 1- 13inch laptop 5-folders 1- portfolio folder2 to 3 containers of food1 water bottle (spillproof but I still need to house it in the main compartment and I leave it upright, just in case)1 small bottle of lotion1 small earbuds5 packs of gum1 calculator1 pouch of pliers, screwdriver (short), and 1 tool I forget the name of1 mini stapler in a pouch1 ziploc bag of like 8 sizes of post it notes2 5 five star zip pencil pouches (usb stuff and work pens)2 regular size notebooks1 jerky stick1-2 textbooks that are 2 inches wide (Got to force it very tight if it's 2 textbooks because of notebooks and folders and laptop, but 1 textbook is fine)And---there's still space in case I buy some goods on the way home from the market, or just empty the contents to my car first. It's a great roomy bag and it it's very accessible! It's so open space you are never squeezing your hand to get somewhere (unless your backpack is very full)It opens from the bottom if you wanted to pack 1 pair of shoes into it as it is meant to be (like a duffel bag).

I love this bag, I work out at the gym every morning. I wanted something that I could open up and see, I don't need to store books ect. Little pricey but quality is great and holding up very well.
