Ever Ready First Aid Porta Sharps Transportable Sharps Container with Locking Mechanism

These are perfect for my needs for travel. We’re going to some museums, parks and staying in hotels and there isn’t always a place to dispose of needles. Also going to place one in my car at all times. At $2 each these work perfect. They are about 7” long and 1.25” wide. The cap easily pops open but there is tab to lock it down when you dispose of it.

I bought these specifically for travel. They are the size of a large test tube and hold the amount of lancets and test strips that I use over a weeks time. They tuck easily into a corner of my suitcase and have a locking top.

I buy these often for daily use. It is lightweight and easy to carry in my lunch bag! I really like them.

Bigger then I thought they would be, like others have stated the cap isn't supper tight but it's not going to just fall open. Unlike others that have posted about the locking tab I have no problem opening the lid once the tab is used.The end of the tab sticks out so all one has to do is push down on the end of the tab and pull up on the lid. Ya its not real convenient to open but the lid can still be opened. If I really need the lid secure I will engage the locking tab.

I’m a newly-diagnosed diabetic. I’m trying different products, to see what I like & need to stay organized & safe. I ordered this to have a way to safely dispose of needles & it’s perfect! It holds a lot & snaps tightly closed. I will definitely be buying again!

I travel a bunch for work, and these fit easily into my pack with my kit. Allows me to check my blood and use the insulin without worry of leaving a needle around.

Great for travel especially if you’re only away for a week and get once a week injections like myself.Would definitely recommend !

For such an inexpensive price, these travel-sized sharps containers work ok. I suspect they might work best for someone who's using them for lancets or other small sharps, and/or who doesn't need to use regular syringes to administer their meds. However, I found that there was way too much wasted space, because of the shape of these containers: the narrow, pointed end precluded my putting more than 2 used syringes in each one. I was still able to use them, but not as efficiently as I'd hoped. Also, I noticed that on several of the containers, the red lids seemed to fall off easily, and I questioned the security of the latch tab. Since the containers would be in my locked luggage until I returned from my recent trip, I wasn't particularly worried about that--however, if security is more of an issue for you, I probably wouldn't recommend this specific type of sharps container.

The container worked well for my daughter during a recent trip to mexico. It allowed her to contain a number of insulin pen needle points as there were no sharps receptacles at the resort we were at. Good quality secure and safe
