Amazon EssentialsMen's Long-Sleeve Flannel Shirt (Available in Big & Tall)

I am quite pleased with this flannel. It definitely exceeded my expectations. See below for pros and consCons:1.) It took two washes for the shirt to lose it’s slight itchiness, which I see as a problem because some people might buy one, wash it once, find it slightly itchy and then never wear it again or purchase another (I almost made this mistake).2.) The buttons are rather small, I strongly prefer larger buttons as they are easier to button/un-button quickly (especially with one hand). They also look a bit cheap. I don’t see upgraded buttons as a major price concession, so I think Amazon could reasonably add better quality/size buttons.3.) I wish they had more colors/patterns available. I am not a fan of large print plaid, I really wish they had more Tartan plaids in neutral/earthy colors. I see this as a major downfall.PROS:1.) Very soft after a few washes2.) The fabric is a nice medium-light weight that drapes well and doesn’t wrinkle. Perfect for moderate weather (50s-70s) or wearing around the house3.) The stitching is phenomenal, I own about 14 flannels from brands such as Carhartt, Legendary, Levi’s, Columbia, Stillwater Supply, etc, and the stitching on this shirt easily holds its own against those brands, if not exceeding them. I have yet to find a loose thread.4.) Color held true after several washes, with no pilling of the fabric5.) The hem is slight and the generous length lends it well to being tucked in (which I strongly prefer)6.) The cuffs have two buttons for size adjustability (even some of my more expensive flannels do not have this feature)7.) I am quite pleased with the fitment of this shirt. For a very affordable flannel, the cut/style of it is on par with shirts that cost twice as muchI am subtracting a star because the lack of palatable color/pattern choices and the small buttons are a bit of a turn off for me.Definitely recommend and will likely purchase more. You can buy 2-3 of these for the price of just about any name brand.

I was a little sketched to try Amazon essential clothes but dang this flannel is soft. I bought an XL to wear as a “getting ready robe” for my wedding and it’s the perfect size for that.

Very much appreciate the fit and comfort of this shirt. I have outfitted everyone in the family with one and purchased three more this past fall.I don't usually get compliments regarding my dress appearance but I have on three separate occasions been complimented on my yellow/black checkered shirt. Kinda like, "hey buddy, you're not as ugly today. Whats different'? It' always nice to be noticed unless you are fleeing a crime scene.

So, right up front; the 4 star rating is only related to the wrong size that I recieved. I ordered a small and received an extra large.The actual shirt is very nice. The fabric is thick, the shirt is well made without any loose buttons or seams. As things turned out, my husband said I should wash it and if it didn't fit him I should donate it. He thought it was ugly and really didn't want to wear it. After I washed it however, we discovered that the shirt is really sturdy, it fit perfect as the flannel shirt he likes to wear over his t- shirts. We call them (the flannel) his camping and hanging out shirts. He was really happy and said "Thank you for the shirt" Now I don't think I will try to reorder a small because we are not into wearing matching close.

Fifth grade, hasn't shrunk, and has been washed several times since purchased. Just wish they would get more big men sizes in stock so I could buy more.

Everything about this shirt is a positive for me, but especially a flannel shirt that actually comes out of the wash virtually wrinkle free. Considering buying a 2nd one.
