Dying to Meet You
I read the regarding series and really loved they way books were written and the style of telling a story through correspondence letters and new clippings. So I thought I would try other books that these sisters have done together. This is the first book of their newest series, I hope the rest of it comes out on paper back so I can read it but might just give up and buy the hardbacks, anyways this was a very enjoyable read too. It's about a writter that has had writers block for 20 years and needs somewhere quite to work, he picks a rental home to rent for the summer, little did he know what he signed up for. The home already had a child and a cat living there, but since he did not read his rental agreement and he's flat broke, he is stuck there. Also along with that there is a ghost in the house too!How will he write his newest book with all these distractions? Well I'll let you read for yourself.Very enjoyable, took me about 2 hours to read. I would highly recommend it to the recommend age group and older.

Funny and spooky book
Ignatius B.Grumply moves into 43 old cemtery road. He finds out that he is living with a 11 year old boy named Seymour Hope. Mr. Grumply puts his books in the mansions libary and some of them go missing out of the libary. He think it is Seymour but Seymour said that it is not him it is the ghost Olive C. Spence who built the house. Olive writes a letter to Mr. Grumply saying that shes the one who stole his boks but Mr.Grumply does not belive her so he still thinks that it is seymour playing tricks on him. I like the book because I like spooky and funny stuff. At first when i read the book i did not know who was stealing the books and then when i got to get deeper in to the book i found out it was Olive that was stealing the books all along.

Kate Klise and M. Sarah Klise "Dying to Meet You"
OK I'm many years past 13 but I loved this book. As an avid reader myself I am always looking to inspire my grandchildren to read. I want them to read for the pure joy of it. I can say without a doubt that this book along with the the others I have purchase from this author are going on my top 10 list for independent readers.Love the illustrations by M. Sarah Klise. These two know what they are doing and know how to capture the attention of children and grandmother's alike. I hope they keep up the great work.

Everything in Letters an news print
This is a fun story, but you have to realize it is all done in letters, newspapers etc. I really enjoyed the story line and how the author brought fun to the story by using letters to editors, real estate agents and newspaper articles.

The Klise sisters are amazing!
Years ago I found Regarding the Fountain at a library sale and was amazed at the inventiveness of the Klise sisters (one is the writer, one is the illustrator and they are definitely both doing the heavy lifting). This is book one in a separate series but it mirrors the "Regarding the..." books as illustrated epistolary mysteries for kids - I'm just surprised they aren't more highly regarded (maybe they are but I don't know that I've ever heard anything about them anywhere). Anyway, for children who like mysteries and/or for children who prefer comics to books these would be perfect. I liked this a bit less than the best of the "Regarding the..." series, but still well worth reading and I'll find the others. Congratulations to the Klises on another winner!

My students loved it
I am a teacher and I bought this book for one of my reading groups. They loved the book and asked if I could order the second story in the series. The book is witty and done in a fun fashion that allows for a lot of teachable moments.

Excellent Children’s book
What a wonderful book with a hidden biblical message - I am 65 years old, a Christian and this was one of the best books I have read. Bought to help my grandson with a book report.
