Easy to Use for Non-Techies Like Me
I'm a middle aged man who's never had a flash drive before and I couldn't be happier with how easy this thing is to use. I wanted to backup my pictures from my laptop and PC and it was as simple as plug in and drag and drop to to the flash drive. No software to install, directions to follow or formatting to be done. Exactly what I needed. I have over 4000 pictures loaded on this 64 GB flash and there's still over 20 GB left for more. I'm already getting another one to for videos now that I know it's this easy. If I can do this, anyone can.

Only Buy If You Want A Basic Flash Drive
I bought this flash drive because I needed an encrypted one for school and SanDisk is a known and trusted brand. However, upon my first use, I put a file in the "vault" for secure access (because it is not an actual encrypted flash drive, you manually move files to a password protected area of the flash drive) and five minutes later when I tried to retrieve the file by going into the vault, I got a message saying the flash drive was ejected when it was still in the port and the icon was still on my desktop. I closed out of the vault, went back to the drive window and tried to open the vault. Lo and behold, it wanted me to start from scratch (accept user agreement and reset password). Needless to say, I do not trust putting files on this flash drive and I cannot return it because I threw out the packaging. So now I'm out $16, have a flash drive I do not want nor will I use, AND I have to search for another flash drive.

First one was not formatted and second one was corrupted within a month.
Well to start, I ended up with two of these. The first one arrived and did not work whatsoever. It asked me from the very start to format the disk, and when I accepted this option (on my brand new computer), I figured out that I as a savvy homeowner could not format the disk and that it should have come already formatted for use with windows. I applied for a return. Unfortunately, I order online for a reason and do not have time to make a return so I ended up paying for it and its replacement in the end. I ordered these for work and to carry important files that I wanted to back up and have with me as I travel. The replacement worked as promised for about a month or a month and a half. At this point, I was unable to save anything to the drive and thought maybe the computer was the issue. I used some smaller usb's that i have and was able to operate them properly. That is when I realized that my new Cruzer was already corrupted and that to attempt to restore it would mean that I would most likely lose all of my work. Although I can access all of the files currently on the USB, I cannot add or delete any files making it useless for my needs. It was irritating enough for the first one not to work, but now neither works. If you are keeping important documents or anything you NEED or want to keep then I would spend my more money on something that will last. I'm currently looking to buy another USB as I need it for work, but it will not be a cruiser. In all fairness, I have not reached out to sandisk but knowing I lost my files is enough for me to try something else.

Make a recovery disk before trying it.
Had some bad luck with mine. I'm on a WIN 10 PC. It was very slow to start, then kept giving me an error when transferring. I tried the scan and repair it with no luck. Finally after a few plug and unplug tries my computer crashed. Tried to restart with it not being able to a few times (cold sweat, fear), luckily I have a recovery on a Lexan flash drive that fixed the startup problem. BTW, if you haven't already made a recovery disk or flash, please do. You'll thank yourself if the startup is ever corrupted. Sorry about the bad review. I really wanted it to work. I hope this problem was just a freak thing. I don't have any malware, adware etc. So I need to assume it was the flash drive. I sent it back for a refund.

Horrible Flash drive
Okay, I don't usually write a bad review on anything unless it is really bad. This flash drive is horrible. Whenever I put it on the computer, the flash drive would completely delete all the data inside and so I would have to eject it and then put it back in. The first time I put in the flash drive a second time, the data was brought back but then I used it again four more times and I was given the same problem. This is the 5th time I use it and now the data is completely gone.I also tried to rename the flash drive and it wouldn't change the name at all. The next time I put the flash drive on the computer, the old name comes up, I put in the name and still uses the old name. Right now, I would ask for my money back but I am not sure it would work. I am never buying from this company again.

These work just fine and are quite durable.
I bought three of these memory sticks. One was for me and the other two were for each of my sons. We have all used ours and have had no issues at all with them. They seem fast enough for me to upload from and to download to and their capacity is correct. They are sturdy and have been used numerous times without any sorts of issues. These weren't very expensive but they are fine for most needs. I may buy a couple of more for things I want to store off the computer now that I see how durable and reliable they are.

Repair This Drive Message: second time it was used
Arrived quickly, however it is extremely slow to transfer files. Then, the second time I plugged it into the computer an error message appeared: "Repair this drive: We found errors on this drive. To prevent data loss, repair this drive now." I cannot believe it, but I suppose it's better to learn the SanDisk Cruzer is faulty early on before I actually lose data. I'll never trust it, so it was a waste of money. I have many SanDisk products and have never had a problem until now.

Works like a Charm
All-around, one of the better purchases I've made. After buying a new HDD, I needed a way to get Windows 10 onto it, and my 8GB flash drive wasn't going to cut it, so I decided to get this...• Cost-effective. Only like ~$15 (with Prime savings) for 64GB which, I feel, is totally solid.• Sleek design, and a sturdy yet smooth slider. Obviously it's not waterproof or anything, but I don't feel like it's flimsy, or that I'd ever in my wildest dreams damage the flash drive when it's slid back.• Reactive lighting, lets you know when it's connected. As somebody who doesn't often need/purchase flash drives, maybe this is more common now, but I still really appreciated it.• Helped me get the job done quickly and simply.

Good usb disk
Every thing is functioning. Fast data transfer speed. It's a little bit big physically, but this is expected. Too small will be easy to lost.

Doesn’t Work!!
Stop working after five weeks. I loaded it twice with videos and used it four times. The next time I went to use it, the light wouldn’t come on and it did nothing.
