So, so dangerous.
This thing will suction to the baby’s face if it’s in the upside down umbrella mode. Babe was playing with hers last night and managed to get it like this, thank God I was next to her because she was trying to pull it off and no dice. The green part formed a complete seal over her nose and mouth. So dangerous, huge product flaw, can’t believe this was even a remote possibility.

Useless once baby has teeth
I got this for my 5mo who currently has 3 teeth and is cutting 4 more. It lasted one day before tearing. I emailed the seller and they accused me of cutting it and won't replace it or refund it. It's obviously not safe for babies with teeth, if teeth are sharp enough to tear it, it's a major choking hazard.

Fun for baby, but sketchy origins
I'm honestly quite torn about this product.Mombella mushroom teethers were an item made by Safety 1st, in partner with Mombella. Being that Safety 1st is a bigger name company, they probably had USA regulations in place. I'm not sure why they discontinued selling them, but that made me weary. This mushroom arrived in nice enough packaging. I was excited to open it for my little one, having heard great reviews about it. However, the box had some poorly translated English on it. "..prevent from baby to bite their own fingers.." That got me thinking- are there any real regulations in place for the production of these things? If they're coming straight from China, with no middle man American company, are they meeting safety standards?Perhaps I'm overthinking it, but that's easy to do when it comes to the most precious person/people in your life.I did let my son try it and he seemed to enjoy it. It's easy to hold and he likes to squeak on the antennas. I keep an eye on him while he is chewing, since some reviewers did mention that pieces break off easy. Additionally, I think I will limit his time with it because I can't be sure that it's made with high quality silicone/dyes.I think I'll stick to Sophie the Giraffe for the bulk of his teething enjoyment.

LOVE it for my breastfed baby
Oh em gee. I LOVE this. My breastfeed baby won’t take ANYTHING but a boob, not a bottle, not a pacifier, nothing. EXCEPT for this alien from toy story looking thing! It gives my wife's boobs a much needed break and it keeps baby happy. Dog hair and such does stick to it very easily but I mean, it’s silicone what do you expect. You can just blow it right off or rinse it and it’s good as new. Now.. the downside is the rubber squeaking noise, definitely terrible but not enough for me to even dare take it away and risk becoming a pacifier again. Thank you thank you to my Jan 2020 mom group that introduced this to me.

Best product for weaning, great for babies who won’t take a bottle or pacifier
I’ve had luck twice with these pacifier/teethers! First I tried it with my son who wouldn’t take a pacifier and I was desperate for him to have something when I weaned him from the breast. I would not take a pacifier, a bottle, or anything until I introduced him to this. It made our transition from breastfeeding so much better! So when my daughter came along, although she had taken a pacifier from birth, she still preferred the breast and that made weaning difficult because I would offer her a pacifier and she would chuck it across the room in detest! So i offered her one of these and again, it made our transition off the breast much smoother!

Just get it.
Update:We are now on month 7 and holy cow is this still the best teether. My daughter won't take a Paci but she uses this as one aswell as a teether. This is just amazing. My 4month old daughter has to see an osteopath for cranial manipulation and often after her appts her jaw bothers her. Chewing seems to help but I could find something that worked since she hasn't entirely figured out the hold and hand to mouth thing yet. If I put it in her hand she will chew on it forever or I can comfortably hold it for her while I'm holding her. Very well made with great design. We are very happy.

Pretty damn good!
I just got this and I quickly sanitized it and gave it to my almost 4 month old, he loved it immediately!!!! He could easily hold/grip it was soft (lots of tethers were too hard/bumpy) it allowed him to practice holding his bottle moving it in and out and he could play with the “nipple” without milk coming out when he didn’t want to drink, my son Only likes nipples and his fist, hated paci... so for him to like this is huge!!! Beautiful product gonna order two more for back ups , also I thought it was too small when I got it, but it was actually the perfect size

Worth it
We LOVE our mushroom teether!! Our baby girl doesn’t like pacifiers and will rarely ever take one and if she does it’s for maybe one minute if we’re lucky. She is almost 5 months old and so everything she can get her hands on goes in her mouth. If she isn’t sucking on her fingers she’s trying to bite on mom and dads finger. I have a few different teething toys and she’ll play with them but won’t chew on them. As soon as we got our mushroom, I washed and sterilized it and gave it to her. I was hoping she would at least be interested in it and hold it. Within 3 seconds of holding it she was shoving it in her mouth and chomping away on it! She loves to hold it(easy for her to hold) and she chews on it all the time. She even uses it as a pacifier every once in a while. It is the only teether/pacifier she likes. The price is great for us moms that don’t have a lot of money to spend on things. I want to get her some of their other teethers and highly recommend this to any parents looking for a teether. If I had to find one negative thing to say about it is that hair and other things stick to it like crazy. So I do have to clean it off before I give it to her to make sure nothing is stuck to it. But it’s easy to rinse off and clean. Since she loves it so much, I don’t mind.

Suffocation risk
Warns about baby not using mushroom when turned inside out due to suffocation risk but I was able to easily invert. If its known to have this risk, why can it still be marketed? It would pose less risk if the mushroom was not soft moldable silicone.

Can't fault on quality but can not rule out attraction to dust either
It is good quality but attracts a lot of dust so needs to be very watchful all the time. Keep washing all the time is the only solution, would prefer a material which is dust repellant atleast if not atleast neutral material would be best.

Perfect for my little one!
This is perfect for my little girl. She isn’t breastfed but is teething like crazy and this is perfect for her as teething rings are too big and round and she struggled to chew on the correct bit. I place this in her hand and there’s only one way she can put it in her mouth. It’s absolutely ideal. Plus it’s adorable

Baby loves it
After trying many teething toys, this product is the one baby likes. It’s soft and had a nice texture, the two nipple-like things are easy for baby to see and grab, and it seems that no matter how baby holds it there’s something for him to chew. Comes with its own little strap, too, so that it’s not constantly falling to the floor. Worth the money and more!

Great product
Love this! I ordered one to see how my LO got on with it, then decided to get a second as chomped away as soon as it was in hand. Teething already so I do one in each hand and LO goes to town on them both. Such a cleaver idea.
