Used this for wrapping wires that see a lot of heat. The factory heat wrapping was rotted away and this stuff did the trick!

I am sorry that I wrote it did not work for me, I should have said if it was a smaller hole it might have worked. I didn't mean to leave negative feed back.

This is the best tape of this type I've ever gotten. It's not only foil, it's got braded fiber in it so it's super strong and sticks great! Doesn't take heat very well but only draw back. I would only use on anything pretty low on temp or cold application.

Works great, used on my intercooler

Attempted to use in a vehicle restoration. I applied heat shield material to the engine side on a clean freshly painted firewall. I used this tape to tape the edge of the heat shield material and a few corner/gaps. The edges pealed up while parked in my shop. There has been no exposure to weather or heat as there is no engine installed yet. Going to remove it an try a new product.

This product is totally useless for my intended purpose. I'd hoped to use it to cover cracking in a hot tub cover, obviously an outdoor application. I prepped the surface by cleaning it and ensuring it was completely dry, yet this tape had almost zero adhesion. It would barely stay put as I was applying it, so what hope can I have that it will flex or fold as I remove and replace the cover? Good adhesion is a nice trait for any kind of tape, but the adhesive quality of this product was very disappointing.
