Hasbro Gaming The Game of Life: Yo-kai Watch Edition

Great game for fans for the Yokai-Watch franchise. Perfect for my 8-year old and fun for me too. Gameplay involves a variety of elements (landing on spaces to fill up your Yokai meter, chance spaces that can be great or dreadful and bonus cards that allow a certain action when you spin a certain number) that keep the game interesting as you collect your tokens. Plus, the game comes with two actual tokens that can be scanned into the Nintendo DS or iPad apps.

Fun twist on the basic game of Life. Honestly they could have just called it something different bc it's nothing like the original game, but my son loves it. Plus, it's quick 😉

I Like The Yo Kai Medals Because They Have Characters On It Including Roughraff And It Had 2 Yo Kai Medals Their Names Are Spenp And Count Cavity.

Nothing like the actual life game like I thought it would be, but my 6 year old nephew lived it regardless.

I bought this for my 8 year old for Christmas and it was a hit! Good game, easy to play, great variation.

My kids love the game of Life and they live Yo Kai Watch. So, I though this would be great, but it's a little disappointing.First off the game is played MUCH differently than life. Really the only similarty is the spinner. You go around collecting YoKai medals. First person to get 3 and make it home wins.The spinner doesn't stay on the board well. It's difficult for my 5 year old to spin it herself because it flies off.The tokens are just molded plastic, not painted at all. It's difficult to even tell who the characters are.The YoKai discs are just cardboard.It's bit a terrible game overall, but it's definitely not Life.

This game is short, you can get it started and over in about twenty minutes. That being said, fun time spending with the kid away from the TV.

My son loves Yo-Kai Watch in every capacity and so wanted to get this game. He wasn't impressed, and said he'd rather have the original game of Life. We played it one time and now will be stuck with a game we don't like. Very disappointing.It was easy to assemble, sure, but much more cheaply made than games I remember from childhood (that I still have).
