2013 album from the modern Pub Rock band led by former Kursaal Flyers members Paul Shuttleworth and Vic Collins (who first played together back in 1969). Sounding not unlike a modern version of the Kursaals, the band also features Steve Oliver (Jerry the Ferret), Bob Clouter (Mickey Jupp) and Andy Farrell. The band name comes from a much loved Kursaal Flyers song. Angel Air.

Not the Kurssals!!!!!!!!!!!
Being a great Aussie fan of the Kurssals I expected a lot more from this band. It just lacked the humour, wit, spark and verve of the lads from Southend.Sure, the playing is excellent and they ain't no hacks but to me its as if they are going through the motions and don't really have all their heart and soul in what they are doing.Maybe Will Birch is the missing lyrical link or Graham Douglas the missing musical spark, but I'm sorry lads, you ain't the Kursaals.
