Foam Surround Repair Kit
Removed the old surround from the Yamaha NS-690 IIIs and had to cut a small amount of the replacement foam so it would fit within the basket edge. The glue sent with the kit is better than the original. It drys with a rubber like texure and the new foam surround is a much superior material.Upon testing the speakers I found that the suspension system had a much better damping than the original and the driver reponse was way more accurate.Koodos to Simply Speakers for providing a replacement foam surround.

Take your time!
Had a 30 yr. old pair of YAMAHA speakers that had the foam just rotted away. Followed the instructions for replacement to a "T'. Made it as exact as possible and the speakers turned better than expected.

Great replacement kit
My NS-A89 speakers are now looking and working as if new. Everything needed for this repair project was included. Not having repaired speakers before I was a bit nervous but, with a bit of care and a great replacement kit, these speakers are singing again.
