Exactly what I expected
Good quality. Works as expected. A little confusing to unfold but got it done. Dont need to refold so it's fine for me as it is.

This is a lousy piece of junk! I had a "similar" one for 20 years and decided I could use a new one It was worn and was still working but it has some corrosion. Unfortunately I pitched the old one and it was picked up by the camp host before I tried this one. I don't know if things are just made worse or this specific one. I will order another one that's made with alloy steel, but this was just plain junk. (Sigh)

By the time I figure out how to set it up, I lost my appetite for toast. It’s a mess of ill fitting wires. Waste of money and time.

No instructions on setup, metal wires fall off at an attempt to set up
No instructions on how to set it up.I know it looks simple, but when i tried, the metal bars fell off, then i was lost! I attempted to out them on and figure out how to set it up for use...did not happen. I am not bothering with getting a refund, the time it would take to package it up and drive down to the UPS store, no...it is not worth it. If you have not paid for this item and your reading my review..my suggestion is...DON'T BUY IT. use a stick and make your toast over an open fire...much easier.

Poor quality
The wires that hold the bread are too thin and weak. The toaster falls apart if touched and no amount of finagling will make it stay together in order to be usable. I had one similar in the early 60s and it was very nice. This one not so much.

Never folds corrwct again and looks horrible after 1 use
Had one of these years ago and never tarnish3d like this one after just 1 use and can't get it to fold properly. Kerps popping out of slots
