The hat is comfortable and looks good. The white lights are good with the distance lights on the front of the brim nice and bright. The red lights under the brim are not as bright as I had hoped but they will do. The instructions for replacing the batteries are WRONG. 1. (optional) disconnect battery pack at quick connector (white connector about 1.5 inches down wire - it just pulls apart) 2. battery doors DO NOT SLIDE - remove 2 middle screws - #2 phillips - and LIFT the door open 3. look at which side of each battery is up and replace them the same way.

Functions as specified. Bright and comfortable. Excellent customer service.

Overall fit and function was good, Red beam did not work had disconnected wires, I had to reconnect them, main light stopped working due to wiring came apart, Once i reconnected the wires and soldered them the hat works Good.

was a piece of crap from the time i opened it . Very poor workmanship,after a couple of days in use the wiring from the batters to the light broke. The lights in the visor were so poorly installed that one of them was completely blocked off by hat matterel .

The lights are not positioned very well so it is a bit awkward to use. I bought a different one that was a bit more expensive but like the saying says....
