Action sport water shoe

This is a fantastic water sport shoe!
This is a really nice water sport shoe! It seems well made, and is nicely ventilated to allow water drainage. I plan to use this when I kayak or ride my Jet Ski. I just want some protection when I step out into the water in case I land on broken glass or sharp objects hidden in the sand. I think these will be fine for short periods, but they do not have enough arch support for me to hike in or take long walks. I will add to my review once I get to test them out on the water. I am curious to see how they drain, and then air dry.Updated 5/30/16 - I wore these all day on my Jet Ski and they worked great. They allow all the excess water to escape, and protected my feet. They were comfortable and had good traction. They completely dried after leaving them out in the sun for several hours when I returned home. These were a great find and I highly recommend them!

I like them as water shoes
I like them as water shoes. Not great for sand though. Sand will get stuck in them and not drain out as easily as they would in sandals. Comfortable for hours of use at a time, but like any new shoes, it might take a couple days in them to break them in or get your feet used to them. They take a while to fully dry, but the water drains out almost instantly after submerging them so it isn't uncomfortable to walk in them even when they are wet. They held up for a week of vacation for me snorkeling, hiking, exploring, etc in Aruba on some rocky terrain. That's all I've used them for so far, so I can't speak to long term durability but they still basically look as good as new. Definitely better than most water shoes if you will have any rocky or rough terrain. The insole on mine was loose and came out after wearing. I'm assuming they are all like this to aid in drying. It's not really an issue, but something to be aware of. They are easy to stick back in and wear like normal. Good for the money at the $25 price point that I bought at. At $60, it's not really a great value, but it is a pretty solid shoe for hiking when you know you'll encounter water.

Comfortable and breathable
Comfortable and breathable. Size is a bit long and narrow, but works for the shape of my foot. They look fantastic. I have been wearing these shoes comfortably everyday since I got them. They're a great shoe for a great price. Very little arch support, so keep that in mind if you have flat feet or if you pronate your foot when you walk.

Nice shoes!!!
So far I have taken these on a couple of overnight 2 day canoeing/fishing trips and also a three day trip. I have walked about 20 miles of gravel/rock bottom stream in these. Normally a pair of $10 water shoes would be trashed by now, but these are still in great shape. Very comfortable, I have had severe foot pain for much of my adult life and cannot wear just any shoe. These get the 5 stars.

Two different sizes, comfortable shoes, sturdy.
My husband tried then on, they fit okay but one was a little bigger then the other. He thought it was just an issue with one needed to be tightened. When we got on the cruise ship he realized that one of them was a size 9, the other a size 10 with 2 insoles. It was too late to do anything about it so he just tightened it as much as he could and made due. They are very comfortable and he had no trouble climbing wet rocks. Make sure you check both shoes when you get them though.

... and he says they fit well and are very comfortable. Haven't gotten them wet yet but they are ...
My fiancé wears a 10 and a 1/2 so I ordered him an 11 and he says they fit well and are very comfortable. Haven't gotten them wet yet but they are very lightweight with plenty of drainage spots so it looks as though they will dry quickly.

Death foot be gone!
My teenage son is, like most young men, a boy of sweaty, stinky feet. His just happen to be the size of two small canoes. So I think they are extra smelly. Anyway, I cannot tell you how many pairs of shoes I have eventually discarded not because they were super shabby...but because of the unholy smell of death foot. I believe that these shoes may very well be the answer to my quest.Since the summer is quickly approaching I was looking for a pair of comfortable shoes that breathed for him. These are actually shoes that are almost double duty shoes - they also are water draining and lightweight, So if he falls in a puddle like he did when he was three, he's covered. They dry quickly and the mesh on the sides allows air to flow through them and keep his feet from overheating. And sweating profusely. And reeking. That's a huge win from my perspective. They weren't outrageously expensive either like some shoes. I am thrilled with these. If he needs another pair next year I will be back for more.

We traded them for 10's and they fit great. It was so easy to exchange also
My husband wears a 10 1/2 and since these don't come in half sizes we went with 11. They were too big. We traded them for 10's and they fit great. It was so easy to exchange also. I like the look of the shoes. He plans to wear them when he goes fishing in the summer. In case he needs to get in the water.
