I've been looking for a teether for my son. We tired the water teether that you put in the refrigerator, but those seem to not with for my boy. I also wanted something that would fit towards the back of his mouth. That's when I came across Mombella Dancing Elephant. The package came on time. Once we received the teether we sanitized it. I think you can put it in the dishwasher, however we boiled the teether for a few seconds. We got it in the yellow (lemon) color. My son was instantly attracted to it. We gave it to him immediately after sanitizing it. At first he was observing the item. He was able to manipulate the elephant very quickly after showing him how to place it in his mouth. It's also really easy to grab for babies. The teether is made out of silicon, which makes it gentle on babies gums. The trunk of the elephant has a safety "stop" to prevent our babies on chocking. It definitely is great and well thought especially for my son because he places it toward the back of his mouth where his molars are coming in. My son really loves this teether. He is nos 7 months, and it's still his favorite teether. Mombella Dancing Elephant is something I definitely recommend for teething babies

I bought several of these for my infant grandchildren. They both loved these. They are flexible and super simple to clean. I either wash them in hot soapy water or stick them in the dishwasher. I like the design bc they are easy for them to hold and they can’t choke on them. With the flexibility they are also safe as far as if they like were to fall on them. Now that they are both near a year old they do not use these much any longer now that they have cut their teeth but they both loved the knobby edge when they were cutting their front teeth. You can also keep them in the fridge so they are cool on their gums. I love this entire line actually. I bought every item they made for both grandchildren at Christmas.

I’m a mom of three and a family practice NP, and I’m telling you, this little thing is ingenious. Props to the amazing DAD out there who designed it! It can be gripped from multiple angles by the tiniest little hands, it has a “buttery” soft rubber surface so it doesn’t become slippery when wet, yet it doesn’t pick up lint and dust, either. It’s sturdy enough that babies can reliably learn to direct it to their mouths, but flexible enough that they don’t cry when they (inevitably, at first) miss their mouths and jab themselves in the eye with it. Regardless of which part of the teether finally makes it to the final destination, there is some portion of it—whether it be the nub, the disc, or the feet—that the baby can gnaw on. I wish this had been around when my first two were infants! My four-month-old currently has the bright yellow one...we call it her Yellaphant. ;)

My little guy was having a tough time cutting some teeth and I thought I would give this a try. Out of the package you will notice how soft the material is and how many grip points there are for the baby. The material is pliable but firm enough that it can offer relief to sore gums.My son grapped it right from my hand and immediately starting chewing. Because of the shape he was able to use many different areas to bite down on to relieve the pain. He has continued to use it to help with the teething and seems to really enjoy rubbing and biting the nubby end.A good purchase.

To be honest I bought it seeing the reviews. And was very disappointed to see that my 5 month old son is not able to hold and bite/chew it properly. For another day or two we didnt give him to hold it. Then the miracle happened!!! after two days of getting it and trying to get him accept it he just took it and start to bite and chew. Now this is his favorite teething toy (we bought 2 other toys of different designs fearing that he didnt like it.). The way he chew it we both feel bad for the toy 😜. So yes it serves the purpose of being a teething toy. It is easy for him to hold. Soft like his thumb to chew and suck. And has the brush type design which I am hoping, it will help him accept a tooth brush easily.Cleaning is easy I clean and sterilize it like his bottles.Loved the design, it is minimalist and easy for a infant to hold on to.And material quality is very good soft and durable.

Discovered that baby only liked all of the Mombella chews from very early on. This was the early favorite until they got one of the clown fish and this moved to number two.A bit more pricey but when it works better than anything else you have tried it is worth the price.

My 4mo old is teething and does not like any other theething you - Sophie the giraffe is too big & complicated for his tiny hands / coordination to his mouth. He does not like the cold toys. He does not like the "keys" or other things with rubber ends to bite. We tried mombella based on other reviews to try and give him something that would give him relief. Wow. Not only does he LOVE it but can easily grip and hold it - and also bring it to his mouth. He can chew on multiple sides of it and doesn't choke (unlike the Sophie legs which are too long to put in his mouth). He also likes the little nubby end and you can see his face change when experimenting with all the different angles. We are impressed and shared the product with our parenting group. We highly recommend!!
