They want 50 bucks to give you the service at the local auto repair shop. Bought this and have used it a few times so saved plenty of money. On the check engine light.

Very good scan tool for the price... It can't do anything really fancy... But for basic read/ clear codes a few live data points and I/m ( emission check) I don't think you can get a better scan tool than this...for the price...In fact I tried one of those OBD2 Bluetooth things for the same price... and it was a nightmare.. Couldn't get the programs for it to work on my tablet then when I finally did they wanted to charge me a subscription fee to use the app per month or the thing was useless so I return it....This thing is great It can even read codes on my OBD1 1995 Nissan altima... So I can't complain too much.... using a scan tool is much easier than the bllinking chk engine light moorse code thing...Only annoying thing is you only have 1 directional button to scroll down... and maybe the screen could be slightly bigger... The next model up has these features but is about double the price.... ...

Accurate enough to help me meet smog requirements.

Such a handy tool for any diy selfers or even professionals. I work at a Tire and repair shop thats usually very busy. And having this instead of dragging our big scanner for quick checks makes my life super easy! Its quick at scanning at has more features than i needed it to. The screen is super clear and easy to read. If your looking for a obd2 scanner this is the one!

Shop couldn't figure out why my check engine light was coming on, and it was intermittent. Apparently the car wasn't keeping a record of it either.I bought this and kept it in my center console - when the light came on I plugged it in and it told me the error. Best part was that it saves the error even when unplugged, so even after the engine light went away the shop knew what the issue was to address.Well worth the money!

Nice little unit. I had the AL319 for a number of years and it works wonderfully. I needed a second one to carry in another car. I decided to try the ML329.It does the job too. It has a couple more features. Both work great for on the road quick diagnosis.Honestly - I don't know why car companies don't just give access to all this data from their interfaces. The car computer has all the information already.

Many features for such an inexpensive scan tool including live data. Simple to use and also lets you to select the units of measurement that you prefer and deactivate the loud beep that it emits when buttons are pressed. I used it to diagnose a check engine light, and used the live data to monitor fuel pressure in real time, to diagnose a fuel pump issue. Saved $$$ doing it myself.

This is a 5 star product all day.Worked well to clear my code.Only reason it got a 3 star is because when I went to register/update I couldn't find it, I emailed autel and they advised me all updates are discontinued on this model.

This product works amazing and is very high quality! Worked with my Genesis Sedan 2012, I had a faulty catalytic code and the device successfully read the code and I was able to erase it without any difficulty. Highly recommend this product and seller.
