Horseracing Game Top

I ordered this game for my father for Christmas. When we opened the box we counted only 10 horses in the box when there is supposed to be 11. I was pretty upset at first and decided to post an original review. After a few hours of thinking I decided to go online to Across the Board's website and contact them directly. I came to find out that they are unable to respond to reviews on Amazon and that I most likely would've been unable to receive the missing horse unless I returned the product.However, their customer service is unmatched! They emailed me back within maybe 20 minutes (hopefully if you have this issue you have the same luck) and let me know that they would provide me a missing horse! I really appreciate their customer service, it is unmatched!Review:The game is a ton of fun and any horse gambler will love to play! Great for large groups or small group around the house. I recommend digging out an old poker chip set so you have those to “gamble” with. The craftsmanship is amazing! If you have a family member who loves the races or even someone that enjoys board games, this is one that is great for larger groups. I highly recommend it as a fun game for the entire family. I look forward to breaking it out whenever I visit my parents now!

I bought this as a Father’s Day gift and it was a huge hit. He wasn’t sure about it when he first opened it but after the first game he loved it! Perfect for all ages and very easy to play and learn.

This is such a fun family game! It’s not only entertaining, but you can heist a few bucks in a good game. Great for families who love a little competition and chaos!!! 10 Out of 10. Very well made. The horses are plastic and the numbers are difficult to put on, otherwise no complaints!

I have gifted this twice--kind of expensive, but so worth it. Everyone who has played it gets totally hooked! I especially like that it appeals to all ages and groups.

All ages love this game, and you can have just about as many players as you want. The board is well-made, solid construction. I deducted a "durability" star because the horses themselves aren't the most solid game piece ever made, but they should work fine for 99% of situations. We really enjoy the betting aspect, too, because you can buy in for a dollar and use poker chips as pennies - if you want to keep it low-stakes. We've also played with dollar bills - and THAT was a lot more shouting, but also a lot more exhilarating when you won. Get this game. It's a little pricey, but you'll play it forever and can use it for a great game night.

It took me almost a year to buy this, because of the price, but I am happy I did. They quality is good, as far as the board. The horses are a bit chinsy, but will hold up for as long as we play. We tell our friend to bring a roll of quarters to play. It is always loud with a lot of laughs. Everyone scream8ng to cheer on their horses. I have it in our camper and it is requested by our friends often. I bought poker chips to go with if we dont want to play for $.

This game is built for durability and simply a quality product. Set up was easy and definitely worth the money. My family has so much fun playing together at large gatherings.

I bought this for myself, but played it with my nieces and nephews who had a super fun time rooting for their horses. The pieces are well made.

Fast 4 day delivery from US to U.K. at a very reasonable price through DHL. Well made and good fun . Rule not clear if in the middle of game you cannot afford to pay the penalty cost if you roll dice for a scratched horse . Assume you’re out ! Any easy to play and well crafted board .
