The tongue drum feels very sturdy and heavy and has a very unique sound. It reminds me of wind chimes. I can't wait to learn more songs and share it with my music students.

It makes a nice sound when you strike it firmly and don't let the drumstick linger. Sometimes the higher notes are a bit fuzzy. The carrying case is awesome, I love that this is protected and able to be carried easily.

If it is out, different members of the family will stop and play with it for long periods of time, which was just what I had hoped. It's good to see my children get a sense for the difference in notes and depth of sound depending on how you play the tongues.I was not expecting such a high quality case- it is very well padded to protect the drum, and even has a matching case for the drum sticks, where we found the drum stick rest. There were more accessories than expected- with the zipper pouch there was a soft dusting cloth, extra numbers, besides the numbers already attached in the correct places on the drum itself. That was a nice touch because upon receiving it in the mail you can take it out and play it right away.The only recommendation I would have for the makers of this product would be to have larger numbers in the sample booklet, but that is probably not something they made themselves.

If you’re looking for a drum to play with hands only this is not the one. I will definitely enjoy it as a new hobby. Did a quick video review so you can hear how it plays.

Beautiful sound, lovely pouch, wonderfully delightful drum. Just love it—ordered another one for my sister. The kit is just great and arrived well packaged and ready to make beautiful music. Great purchase! So happy with it!

Awesome first drum for my 10 year old with a cute cactus llama caring bag, drum sticks/mallet? And a tiny direction book. I ordered some books and look forward to my child learning how to play. Reminds me of a xylophone sound. Super in expensive also so good try out type instrument.

Smaller than expected, but sounds great.So more music and less crazy kids thumping kind of instrument.The case was nice touch to make storage easier.

We bought this little drum for our grandson who likes to bang on things. He enjoys listening to the different sounds he can make with this little steel drum. Also comes with a nice carrying case and drumsticks with their own little case included. It’s a good value and arrived in a timely manner.
