I haven't installed this yet but the directions and hardware seem very straightforward and easy to install if you have the tools and experience installing something fairly simple like this. The hardware, like the mounting bracket, seems very sturdy and made of good quality metal, but is also lightweight.One thing I really like is that the winding mechanism slows the speed at which the line retracts. So if you pull it out far & accidentally let go of the line, you don't have to worry about it snapping back too fast like a tape measure- causing damage to your wall or hurting anyone who might be standing in it's path. I'd still use caution though, since you cannot engage the lock while pulling the line out at the same time.You can disconnect the line while it's still locked, carry it over to the unit, and then release the locking mechanism to have even more control over the wire and where it's travelling while it's winding back up.Overall, very nice product and pleased with the quality and size. It's compact, has a relatively small wallspace footprint when it's not in use, and perfect for my line-drying needs in my small studio apartment.

This clothing line is great. I hung it over my washer and dryer and it fits perfectly.This allows me to dry delicate items without shrinking them in the dryer. This is so much better than the floor rack. It takes up zero space.It was incredibly easy to install as well.

This is perfect when I wash my blanket and towel. I just hand them out on this which I have installed on my deck. It was easy to install myself and went up in minutes. It is study enough to hand the heavy laundry and fabulous enough to just stay out of the way when not in use. I love that the lines retract, allowing for a discrete clothes line.

My wife is extremely happy because when she washes clothes she has the lines in the bedroom and she can hang her wet clothes to dry. It's extremely easy to install and use, we are surprised by how it can hold the weight of the wet clothes

I followed the instructions, it was easy enough. I wish the end locks weren't plastic, though.

Excellent indoor clothes line. Used in spare bedroom for drying blankets. Nicely retracts and barely noticeable in room.

Been using 3x a week for a few weeks. I initially did a random load of lightweight stuff to test. Held up great. I second test (no pictures) I did 5 pairs of jeans on one line and hoodies on the other line. Because of weight I wanted to test longevity (will it sag, ect). Left those on for 3 days and my line didn't sag! Easy to use. Just make sure you lock it after running your line! Reeling it back in after use is slow. I'm ok with that because it doesn't turn my line into a thin wire sling shot. But I am curious on longevity of that before it won't reel back in at all. I'd buy again in a heartbeat

My son installed the clothesline on my balcony. I've always loved using a clothesline. Anyway, once installed I used it two (2) times and one of the plastic holders (that attaches to other end) broke off. Haven't used it since. Just beware.

Didn’t think this would have worked out, but I was wrong. Able to fill both lines with average clothes and towels….holds pretty good. I did use heavier duty anchors. Does the job

Fairly discret, easy to pull out & lock in place, strong & sturdy,Holds heavy duvets / bedding / towels without sagging in the middle.Made such a difference over winter having somewhere to properly dry laundry.Combined with a dehumidifier machine (& heating on over winter) my laundry dried in around 4 hoursI found this better than a fould out airer as the clothes had more air circulation to dry and not all clumped together in one area.Clothes didn't need adjusting half way through drying as I previously would need to do with a airer to ensure they all dried.Also much easier and quicker to store away and get out.
