Awesome product overall. Great finish and feel. Pretty well designed with good software. Very intuitive. I gave this product 2 stars because although it seems excellent, it failed on my first day of use. I had a solar panel attached to my backpack with the charger in the brain of my pack while hiking the PCT and the micro USB port failed on me during my first day. In order to allow charging, I now have to bend the cable towards the LED lights and hold it in place. This is unacceptable for my use. All said and done, they sent me a replacement, new in package with accessories and all, as a replacement. The shipping was quick, and customer service was friendly. So I now have one device that doesn't work very well and one brand new one that works just fine so far. I probably won't be taking it out backpacking with me again to charge via solar panel while hiking, though.

I've got the carbon version and this thing is sick. I can get 3-4 full charges on my Samsung Note 8 before I need to recharge it. The LED isn't very bright. But I suppose if you need light when there is none it'll help and the automated SOS signal is a potentially life savings feature, especially if you're injured. Double click the button and point it in a visible direction and you can focus on staying warm, tending to your or others injuries. 2 usb ports are awesome. Allows you to charge or utilize one while using a solar polar panel to charge your Poseiden. For charging in doors it has a mini USB port that charges quickly even via a 2.4 amp charger. Plus it has a very durable mount for a mounting ring (either included or of your choice) - I absolutely love it. Has been on the boat, kayak trips, ATV and soon to be snowboarding and snowmobiling trips in the mountains.Probably the most important step in design and QC is that has the "CE" mark and is ROHS Compliant. SO many of these aren't and can explode during use or short/surge causing serious injury or death - especially the ones that claim to charge batteries. Battery acid to the face, not cool.Skip the camo and get the stealth black.This is as good as it gets.

I'm not going to give this product one star as I feel its possible we got the "one in a million" bad chargers. Purchased this item about 6 weeks ago and have used it on one overnight hiking trip. Worked fine. However, as we are now readying ourselves for a 5 day backpack trip, we have discovered that for one thing, the cloth bound charging cord will not only NOT charge the Poseidon, but will not charge any of our electronic items. Secondly, an overnight charging leaves only the first green light solid while the 2nd green light flashing. We love the design, the feel, and the fact that it can supposedly take a beating, a dunking, etc and still work. We want to give this company a 2nd chance to remedy this situation.

The packaging is heavier that the charger. My first impulse was that I had made a big mistake. Once free of the massive plastic and cardboard box, I held a compact, well built item that can go with me anywhere. It is intuitive in what charge it gives what item so no risk when charging items that require different amounts of power. Two ports which is excellent! I have not yet had a change to see how long it will last but will add to my review after a two week long walk in May in harsh conditions. I have high hopes that this is the only power brick I will have to carry.The caribiner is not very well made. The lock down ring has no stop. The quality of the charger is very good and the caribiner seems to be less quality.I am very happy with the Posiden and look forward to years of use.

I love gadgets and so does my boyfriend especially if they can be used for hunting, fishing, hiking, survival, etc. I bought this charger for him for his birthday and an upcoming hunting trip. He loved the small size, the camo finish, usb with paracord and how durable the whole package seems. It's also fairly light. Only criticism we have right now is the caribiner lock "slips". We'll see how it performs during hunting trip. Although it came 3/4 charged, he'll charge up before he heads out for a few days in the field. That should give us a good idea of how well charge / power lasts. The flashlight is a great feature too! We also like flashlights. :-) If he's super happy with then I may order one for myself. I think it's well priced at around $99 for what you get.

I have been looking for a really good power bank for my EDC bag, and after seeing Ben's channel on YouTube (Living Survival) do his review of this product, plus I've also seen the review of it on other channels, it did help a lot on the decision process of purchasing this product. I also researched the website of Dark Energy on this product and found that if the military can't destroy it it must be good. I have it fully charged and ready to use it soon. Check out some of those channels on YouTube if you haven't already, they are great guys, do really good non bias reviews, and may just help you in your next purchase. Side note: some of the channels have their own Amazon sites, to save you some money.

Very happy with this charger. My 5 year old threw it across the garage cause I told him it was invincible (my mistake), and it worked great after.
