What I great buy. Very nice Quality and perfect for a carry around bag. Color is true to picture. Zippers are good quality for the price. You need a cute back pack this is it!

this backpack was for a halloween costume rather than consistent use, so i can’t speak much on how sturdy or durable it is over time. the quality isn’t as good as something like a jansport, but it’s justified by the inexpensive price. the quality is acceptable for the price and isn’t super cheap by any means. this is the kind of backpack i wouldn’t use as my go-to and there aren’t a lot of pockets. however, i think it’s good for me to use as a backpack that i don’t care as much about when it comes to dirt or wear and tear. i recently used it to carry some things and sat it on the beach, so i think i’ll use it for outdoor experiences. i have a kanken as well, for reference, so obviously there’s a difference in quality, but there’s also a difference in purpose for me as well. this backpack might be a little water resistant, but water will soak into it. at the end of the day the color is pretty and it accomplished what i need it for. so it’s for these reasons i give it 5 stars.

Pros: 1. Size: It is smaller than I expected, but it's meant for a five year old boy, so that's not a bad thing. It holds his school supplies (notebook, paper, hard pencil box, markers, two boxes on Kleenex), and doesn't look like it's going to devour him with it's size. Additionally, I've used it for day trips, and it's held everything I needed for myself, three kids, and a dog, without feeling like it was too small or too large. 2. Cost: It's $10, with free shipping if you're Amazon Prime. Unless you're getting the uber cheap Wal-Mart specials, you're not going to beat that. 3. Color: It's a great true red. It's not orange-red, neon-red, pinkish-red, or dark-red. It's exactly what my son wanted. Cons: 1. Size: If you're looking for a regular, larger backpack, this isn't it. It's great for day trips, children under 4ft, and bicyclers. 2. Pockets: The outside pocket is great for small things, but I really, really wish there were the mesh pockets on the sides so I could put my water bottle there instead of having to dig into the backpack every time I wanted a sip. Other: Durability: I cannot speak to the durability of this backpack, since we haven't had it very long. It's done well on my little day trips, and held everything we needed, but this backpack is meant for my five year old son...and I have no doubt that the Elementary School Experience will put this backpack through the wringer. If this backpack makes it through the year, I'll contact Amazon to try to find a way to give it six stars!

Bought to put in shoebox gifts / similar and it was the perfect size to be able to fit in the box or to fill with gifts. I can’t say this is the most durable or comfortable backpack on the market, but it at the price point I am very happy with it. It does seem to be fairly sturdy and as a gift a can’t speak to durability, but I am very happy with the purchase!

Bright color! Only has the big pocket for folders and such and the front puch pocket. But easy to use smaller so great if traveling. Comfortable enough to wear.

I bought two of these backpacks for my two elementary school kids and they are perfect for what they require. The backpacks themselves are durable and just the right size for the kids. I would say they are comparable to other canvas type backpacks out there that are 2-3 times the cost. The backpacks can easily hold a binder, a notebook, a pencil case, a lunch, a few books, and a sweater with room to spare - keeping in mind that this is for elementary school kids again...our kids are young so they don't carry much at all. If you're planning on carrying a High School load of text books, you may want to consider getting the larger sized backpack. The stitching at the seams is durable and we've had no issues with torn seams or canvas. The zipper also runs very smoothly. Because the backpacks are solid in color, we ended up decorating the backpacks with acrylic paint to spice things up. The paint dries well on the canvas, looks vibrant, and give the backpack an extra protective coat. If you're considering drawing on the backpack with Sharpie, keep in mind that Sharpie on canvas tends to bleed a bit, and won't look quite as vibrant. You can also remove the "Everest" label very easily if you don't want the tab there and clean the material underneath with a toothbrush and stain stick - the coloring under the label will come right off. If you want a good glossy finish, you can also finish the painting with a clear acrylic coat. We did Lego Avengers on one bag and Japanimation Hello Kitty on the other - the kids love their backpacks!

It's perfect size actually bigger than I thought vibrant green will buy more colors

This bag has been with me for years, the fact it is still alive is beyond me. It's so spacious you question the other bags you owned. It will survive aggressive packing for years, it's cute, it's neat, it's presentable. This bag still astonishes me, I've been through my fair share of bags and I've never had a backpack so magically last this long. Did I have to duck tape the bottom of the bag 4 years later of daily use, yes, but are the handles still on? yes. Is the bag as a whole still holding? yes. The only reason I'm writing this review is because I REALLY need to buy a new one, used this one to the core. Originally bought for literally 10$CAD, never in a million years did I expect this. Have to go for a funky color now cause Black has been out of stock for a decade, but honestly couldn't be happier to try out new colors and just live my life vicariously through these bag colors for the next years to come. Incredible job on such a cheap item.

La mochila es muy comoda y simple. Elegi esta maleta para un uso diario al trabajo y va muy bien. Dentro de la maleta caben perfectamente Cuadernos, portatiles de hasta 14". De 15,6 no estoy seguro. Una mochila sencilla y buena. Despues de 6 meses sigue como nueva, esta muy bien fabricada!
