This is an elegant bust sculpture of Socrates (470-399 BC), the famous Athenian philosopher and one of the founders of Western philosophy. Socrates is very well-known for his saying, among others, that “I know one thing: that I know nothing”. A beautiful piece for home, office or library decoration; ideal gift for lovers of classical antiquity, and particularly for teachers and professors of history or philosophy.

There was an issue with shipping and the package was lost in the mail. I reached out to the seller and they shipped a new bust, which arrived in no time! This was no fault of the seller, so 5/5.Bust is about the size of a full hand. Smaller than I had imagined, but was actually a pleasant surprise. 5/5.Also comes with a cool ancient greek postcard.
