HOW TO USE: STEP 1: Soak the whetstone or flattening stone in water for about 12 minutes before use. STEP 2: Adjust angle properly between blade and stone, the angle between 10°~ 20°. Meanwhile you can use angle guide. STEP 3: According to the blade damaged condition, please use the proper grid stone to sharpen in the correct order (from rough to fine grinding) . Keep sharpening each side of the blade until it is bright and sharp enough, and it doesn't sound or feel roughly. Keep the stone moist when sharpening. STEP 4: Wipe up the knife sharpening stone set with dry cloth.If necessary, use the flattening stone to repair the whetstone to keep it smooth and level. STEP 5: After finishing sharpening, use the leather strop to polish blade and remove burrs. NOTICE: ★ Please keep soaking the stone in water 5~15 minutes to reach the best state. We do not suggest longer than 20 minutes. ★ When finishing sharpening please wipe up the wooden base and place it in the ventilated place to make it dry. ★ Glove or any protection is recommended when sharpening. ★ Choose a dry, solid, stable and flat table top to place the wooden base and stone kit when sharpening. ★ For better sharpening your knife please flatten the whetstone in time. ★ Serrated blades and ceramic knives are not suitable for our sharpening stone kit.
